We had a fantastic stay at Oaklands Guest House from start to finish. Tim and Teresa are incredibly warm and welcoming hosts who made us feel right at home. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious—beautifully presented with plenty of options to set us up for the day. A lovely personal touch was Tim coming out of the kitchen each morning to greet us and check that everything was to our liking, while Teresa made sure we had everything we needed with her friendly and attentive service. We stayed in room 5, which was spacious, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable—everything you could want for a relaxing stay. A particularly special moment was when Tim and Teresa acknowledged our wedding anniversary with a thoughtful surprise: a tray with a card, glasses & Prosecco. It really made our stay extra memorable! We only wish we could have stayed longer. We’ll definitely be back—thank you, Tim and Teresa! Emma & David

Everything about our stay was amazing, room, decor, host, staff, breakfast, cleanliness, hospitality, value for money, provisions. The other thing that stood out was there was no penny pinching whatsoever, and by this I mean everything was more, from the breakfast, that was thoughtfully asked on order, even down to the tea/coffee in our rooms were not just the usual 2 teabags, 2 coffee etc, there were more than enough quality drinks and biscuits too, plus even a thoughtful lovely little keepsake to take home aswell. Only negative was we couldn’t stay longer due to work commitments.

Loved everything about this property. Hosts were in touch long before we arrived, providing a list of restaurants they recommend and a tip to book in advance due to it being busy season. Rooms was divine, with every little detail thought of including fresh milk in a little fridge, and fast charging points for devices. The breakfast was to die for, both cooked and the continental options were very high quality and delicious. They organised extremely early breakfasts for those taking part in Ironman, with a separate breakfasts for spectators later in the day. They kept us right and we are so glad. Every aspect of the property has clearly been thought of with guests and pride in mind.

Elegant modern decor, well appointed rooms. Our room on the main floor was spacious, well laid out and welcoming. The ensuite was spacious with an elegant large shower. The most hi tech modern toilet I have ever seen. The hosts Tim and Theresa are warm and welcoming. Tim is the breakfast wizard creating options that not only meet high standards but surpass them. There is a spacious guest lounge with an honour bar. The property has implemented sustainability practices. Parking is available on site in a quiet, safe neighbourhood a short pleasant walk to the esplanade to begin exploration of Weymouth!

The fact that we had only booked three nights. In all our travels around the UK this BnB has been the most restful and delightful experience.

Excellent breakfast cooked to order, lots of choice, fresh fruit, a choice of breads, good tea and coffee. Good gluten free options. Lovely dining room and relaxed atmosphere. The decor of the whole house was beautiful and there is a cosy lounge for use too. Everything we needed in our rooms, everything is very well thought out. The house is in a quiet street in Weymouth but only a 5-10 minute walk to the front. Tim and Teresa are both wonderful hosts, warm and friendly. We have recommended Oaklands to family and if we ever need a b and b in Weymouth we wouldn’t hesitate to come back.

A beautiful property full of character, it was great that there was parking available on site The Hosts were absolutely amazing and nothing was too much trouble, the breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice both hot or cold. Everything was so beautifully presented The room was great and I loved that there was a mini fridge in there, even better it had fresh milk in there to make a brew. Another really nice touch was there was two empty glasses in there to chill and some beautiful containers with fresh water in It was great to read up about the properties history, and you can certainly tell that Tim and Teresa take such pride in everything they do We will defiantly be staying here again, the proximity to the sea front was just a 10 minute walk away, and their recommendations for places to eat was spot on Thank you both for such an amazing stay!!

Nothing we had such an amazing stay, and we wouldn't change anything about it

It was a beautiful property with beautiful rooms and only a 10 min walk to the beach and main strip of restaurants. There were lovely biscuits in the room and tea, coffee and fresh milk. And water kept in the fridge. The lounge area was relaxing and honestly bar was a very good price. The staff were very friendly and breakfast was absolutely beautiful. Every morning at breakfast the chef would come out and ask how the food was. And there was a beautiful selection of fresh fruit, juice, hot drinks and food. The eggs and salmon were amazing, and breakfast was definitely great value considering how much you would pay for that standard of breakfast in a cafe. The bed was comfy and the room has lots of draw space. Shampoo and conditioner smelt lovely which is always a bonus! There was sufficient parking as well with some at the front and the back as well. We were given a map upon arrival and some ideas of places to go before hand from Oaklands which was helpful to book some places and trust they would be good.

Only thing I would have liked was black out curtains as the sun was so bright in the morning. My partner and I did end up waking up a few times each morning between 5-6 AM which obviously you don’t want on your holiday!

I really only have good things to say, we had a fantastic experience. The room was nice and looks much better in life than in the photos, it had all necessary amenities, as well as water, tea, coffee and even milk. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful, and the breakfast is absolutely great. Guest house is located in a very quiet area, but still easy walk to the Esplanade. Will definitely come back here again!

Upon arrival we were greeted by the hosts who were very friendly and welcoming. The accommodation was immaculate, a lovely Edwardian guest house with unique touches through out. The room was lovely, we had tea facilities/biscuits and some personal touches added too. Book up and you’ll see! Breakfast was lovely all cooked to perfection, fresh fruit, yogurt cereals etc to help yourself too. Parking on site, a lovely 10 -15 minute walk into the town/harbour side. Thank you , we will be booking Oaklands again next year.

This is a gem of a place! Run by very nice, attentive people full of gusto and attention to detail. The location is great for an easy walk to the town center, and the rooms are super clean and comfortable. Breakfast is great - everything is fresh and delicious. I would highly recommend you stay here. This was our second time and we will definitely be back again!
