Cheap and very cheerful! The jolly lady behind the bar passed the keys over and left us to it. Entrance is by a side door and up two flights. Some rooms have loos down the corridor but room 5 has loo and shower. It also has a v comfy sofa and a turret window looking out to the Victoria clock statue and sea beyond. No breakfast but lots of tea and coffee stuff in the room and a handy store next door. The pub itself has jolly locals, the building is a bit run down, but the room, bedding and towels were very clean and in all it was a really fun and inexpensive place to stay.

Parking is 5 mins away in a public car park beyond the station £9/24hours not ideal but OK.

Staff and locals in the pub friendly and nice people. Beer really cheap. Absolutely loved the Seaview from my room and my doggie loved the room too and the easy access to the beach for his walk and run. I stayed there with my daughter and the rest of the family went to another hotel, they were all well jealous when they saw our hotel and said they would be booking into the tides inn should they visit Weymouth again. Thankyou for a lovely relaxing stay. 🤗

The staff were phenomenal and went over and above to make our stay amazing. Dee, Dave (Aka Penfold), Jan and the bar staff were brilliant. Thanks to Dee and Dave for all their help. David especially went over and above carrying our suitcases for us getting us extra pillows, extra duvet, coat hangers and ice. Nice comfy bed. Location perfect too. Really close to seafront for entertainment. Has a convenience store literally next door. Dominoes pizza and a Chinese opposite, what more do you need after a night out. Such an amazing place, with exceptional friendly service. Would definitely stay again. ❤️

I couldn’t fault it!

Housekeeping supplying and replacing the used towels was very good. The room had a Ceiling Fan attached to the light that helped keep the room cool. Also the self service for coming and going from the Inn was good with your own key to get in the building so you could stay out late without getting locked out

The doors to the rooms needed the handle and lock screwing to the door properly.

Great location. Right by the beach. Lots of tea and milk available and towels and bedding provided. Mattresses are also comfortable. The staff are really friendly and helpful as it's 3 floors up they helped us with our bags and let us store them behind the bar on our last day which was great

Bit tired in the rooms and the shower was not very good but we managed To wash out hair just about lol

Amazing value for money. People are really friendly, brilliant location near railway station with only a five minute stroll into the centre of Weymouth and one minute to the beach. Fish & chips, Chinese food, burgers and kebabs all within 30seconds of the front door. The pub is very lively in the evening and the karaoke was great.

Needs a little bit of TLC with the decoration but overall, exceptional value for money.

Great location. Room was ok, furniture a tad out dated but was clean. had a sink and a shower in the room and toilet block just outside the room. All the staff was lovely. Bar was great, prices for drinks are very reasonable.

Quite a lot stairs to walk up to the room. A lot of noise outside all hours but understandable for the location.

Location excellent, a stone's throw from the seafront, literally! Room was ok, double bed, small put you up for my granddaughter, seating area by bay window with the view of the seafront. Ensuite bathroom ok. Stair climb to rooms ok. Separate door to accomodation so you didn't have to go through pub each time. Staff froze our icepacks for our cooler box for our journey home Great value for money.

Put you up had a slat missing but granddaughter slept ok on it and landlord did ask as we left if there had been a problem with it at all ( they had given us an extra smaller mattress pad to go over the gap) Noise from street, not too bad for a Friday and Saturday night in Weymouth to be honest although the motorbikes and boy racers do seem to like that part of the highway! The decor is a little tired but again, old pub and there is a refurbishment in the plans. Did not stop us enjoying the weekend!

The room was nice and good size for a family. Would stay again :) And even though it being a pub you could hardly hear the noise of people in the room.

The only thing I didn't like was the heat within the room but this could of been due to the humidity in air. and the taps were a bit stiff to turn on and off.

The service was second to none. The Staff were excellent with all members of my family and the customers in the pub were just as welcoming. They made us all feel very welcome and if we needed anything they were always there to help. It was clean and the location for access to everything was great.

I cannot say anything bad about this property.
