The location is ideal for anywhere you want to go in Weymouth. The breakfast is really nice and the hosts are very attentive and kind. Easy for parking and quiet enough to get a good nights sleep.

I booked a room with a bath for my young children, but on arrival was given a room with a shower which made things difficult. I didn’t make a fuss as the place was fully booked when we arrived. It’s worth checking these details ahead of arrival if you want this facility. Also our room had no view and smelt of damp in the bathroom. I really feel the sunflower room needs a full make over as it does look and feel tired. There was also breakfast cereal on the floor from previous guests.

Lovely historical building with a grand driveway and entrance. Plenty of parking and situated in a lovely part of Weymouth. Weymouth is charming anytime of year. The George could not be better positioned it’s a short walk to the beach and town. We had very large bedroom beautifully furnished, clean and carefully thought out for the comfort of guests. My dog was very much welcomed and she loved the breakfast sausage. Fantastic friendly hosts and first class breakfast. I did not want to leave and certainly will be returning now that we found this gem .💎

Nothing to dislike.

The staff were all really friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. The room was super clean and spacious and we felt very at home and comfortable there. The breakfast was fab, we are both vegetarian and they accommodated us well. The accommodation was also very dog friendly and a short walk to the seafront, so the location was great!

The mattress in our room was super soft, which would be good for some people, but its not for us - this is still personal taste and preference so not a criticism! We are tall and the way the shower is designed the slanted ceiling meant we had very limited space, but genuinely, that was it. Nothing at all on the property and owners, just personal preference!

The George and all the staff were very welcoming and couldn’t do enough for you - even carrying my suitcase up the stairs, which I was v. grateful for! Breakfast was great and cooked the way I wanted it. The room was clean as was the en-suite. My only gripe, and this is more me rather than The George, I found the bed quite hard and having trouble with my hip, was difficult to sleep on. The towel could have been larger i.e. a super bath towel, as it was on the small side. Big shout out for having a good hairdryer - happy days 😊 (v. powerful). The final two flights of stairs were difficult to climb as they are steep, hence my earlier comment re the stairs (and bed) - it would be good to let guests know about the stairs if your are staying in rooms 9, 10 & 11. But all this aside, I had a good stay at The George and would book again.

Welcoming and relaxed stay. Wonderful breakfast, it matched everything we have previously had at hotels (except one really exclusive one). Comfy airy room with a good bed. Lots of thoughtful touches such as travel cups so we could take coffee out with us, and a microwave for guests to use. Easy and free parking. Good location for us.

The bathroom was private but not en-suite. I didn't notice prior to booking because booking.com often use 'private bathroom' to mean en suite. The essentials such as shower and bed were spotless but the bathroom floor was not, and there was a nail under the sink.

The room was very spacious, quite comfortable with a clean en suite, perfect for what we needed. Plenty of tea, coffee and the hot chocolate sachets were a nice touch. The location was perfect for what we needed it for as we were visiting friends. Breakfast was great.The continental had a good selection and the cooked breakfast was always plentiful with good produce. The staff were very friendly and couldn't accommodate enough. Fresh coffee with breakfast was lovely and the staff were always happy to keep you topped up. We stayed for 2 nights but could have easily stayed for longer as it was a nice stay.

There wasn't anything we didn't like for the money paid. You get what you pay for and it was worth the price. Some things could be updated but it was homely, comfortable and worth the price. I found the mattress quite hard but it didn't ruin the stay.

I had an excellent short stay. My room was super comfortable. I loved the bed and duvet. Breakfast was exceptional, and Mike made an effort to serve it before 8:30 for me as I had to leave early for my hike. B&B is super qute, and the location is amazing. There is Tesco and Lidl within walking distance, which is super convenient. Beach is only 10 minutes away as well. The area is also lovely and clean. I felt super safe staying there on my own.

Bigger towels would have been nice. My bathroom was not in my room, so it would have been nice to be able to wrap myself to be able to go back to the room without having to change in the bathroom.

Welcoming host. Spacious and comfortable room. Fantastic breakfast- cooked breakfast of your choice. Loved the tea and coffee station- plenty of tea and generous cups.

Two small negatives. First was there was no plug socket near the dressing table, so couldn't sit and dry my hair. As someone with a bad knee currently this made it harder for me as had to stand by fire place which has a mirror above in the room we stayed in. Second might be to keep tv sound off / subtitles on only in breakfast room, as it was on a news channel with depressing / stressful news on the USA bombing of iran nuclear sites.

The location was great. Free on site off road parking meant we could leave the car and walked approx 15 mins into the centre of Weymouth for an evening meal. The cooked breakfast in the morning was excellent, good quality ingredients, very attentive waitress, very good portion size and a huge selection of cereals, yogurts, fresh fruit, warm pastries, toast and jams, etc. We met the owner a couple of times who was very engaging and friendly. Tea/coffee/hot chocolate in the room and a mini pack of biscuits. Hairdryer, extra blanket, portable heater. The room had an openable window and an adjustable radiator. A really powerful shower.
