Lovely historical building with a grand driveway and entrance. Plenty of parking and situated in a lovely part of Weymouth. Weymouth is charming anytime of year. The George could not be better positioned it’s a short walk to the beach and town. We had very large bedroom beautifully furnished, clean and carefully thought out for the comfort of guests. My dog was very much welcomed and she loved the breakfast sausage. Fantastic friendly hosts and first class breakfast. I did not want to leave and certainly will be returning now that we found this gem .💎

Welcoming host. Spacious and comfortable room. Fantastic breakfast- cooked breakfast of your choice. Loved the tea and coffee station- plenty of tea and generous cups.

The location was great. Free on site off road parking meant we could leave the car and walked approx 15 mins into the centre of Weymouth for an evening meal. The cooked breakfast in the morning was excellent, good quality ingredients, very attentive waitress, very good portion size and a huge selection of cereals, yogurts, fresh fruit, warm pastries, toast and jams, etc. We met the owner a couple of times who was very engaging and friendly. Tea/coffee/hot chocolate in the room and a mini pack of biscuits. Hairdryer, extra blanket, portable heater. The room had an openable window and an adjustable radiator. A really powerful shower.

I came here as a late booking as I had been working late and needed accommodation at last minute . Staff were very accommodating. Very clean and comfortable room and dining area. Lovely touches in the room . Plenty of tea, coffee , biscuits etc in room .The hosts are very friendly & helpful. I felt very looked after ! Delicious breakfast ! Plenty of parking space

Nothing . It is located next to a main road & I did here the traffic a bit but once I realised the window was open a bit and shut it it’s was fine 😅 It is not far from the town centre but is a walk/ drive away so depends where you want to be

Stayed in their ensuite room. I had a lovely stay with my wife during our weekend getaway. The room is very clean I have no issues. Well done to the manager of this B&B. I have to say this as there were very considerate with the needs of a woman their toiletries were complete. Very considerate. I like that its very quiet and dog friendly. The staff were very kind.

It is tricky to make our car fit by their entrance gate. Just need to close the side mirrors of our car to get in and out. But we got out without scratching the car. The rest were perfect.

We really enjoyed our stay at The George. Good location close to the town and beach. The room was huge and had a nice view of the garden. Lots of sockets, comfortable bed. Decor was tasteful with a seaside theme. Breakfast was delicious, and the staff were friendly. Good selection of refreshments in the room, including snacks. Lots of information about the property and local area was provided in a folder. Takeaway cups in the room, which was a nice touch.

The entrance/ exit to the carpark was quite narrow and had raised curbs. The bathroom was small and a weird shape. The shower was tiny and would not be suitable for a larger person.

The room and beds were very comfortable, plenty of room. Lots of coffee, tea, hot chocolate and biscuits. Also a basket with bathroom essentials. The breakfast was delicious and they catered to our differing preferences. All the staff were very friendly and helped us up to the top floor with the suitcases. The property is an easy short walk to the beach then a flat walk along to the shops and main restaurants. The parking was very handy too.

The 39 steps up to the top floor, but that was where our lovely room was and the view was wonderful too. As I said they happily helped with the cases and we hadn't specified that some of us had dodgy knees.

Me and my husband highly recommend this B&B, it is in a great location, with plenty of parking spaces at the property. Our room was upgraded on arrival, it was such a lovely room, very spacious, beautifully decorated to match the style of the property with some lovely little touches. Bed was very comfy too. Breakfast was absolutely fantastic, no complaints at all! Mike and the waiting staff were so friendly and very helpful. If we return to Weymouth we will definitely return to The George! We had a fabulous nights stay. The room was a very good size and had everything we needed. The mattress seemed brand new and was so comfy. The breakfast was fabulous. We had the vegetarian option, and they used top-quality veggie sausages. There were plenty of choices of cereals, juices, various milks, and pastries. There were gluten-free cereals available, too. The staff were all really lovely and very helpful. The B&B was just a short walk to the beach. We will definitely stay again.

Our room was facing the main road, so it was noisy at times. Earplugs are a good idea. The room was a really good size, so it was a shame the bed wasn't a kingsize, but as mentioned, it was very comfy.

We loved this place! It’s so nice to see a proper family business :) They applied a lot of effort and added a lot of care to everything in this hotel. We really appreciated an opportunity to have a vegan full English breakfast. Very cozy rooms with nice interiors. Extra point for being a dog-friendly hotel!

I know that the management did it best to transform a traditional layout of the house for the hotel needs. The only thing that was a bit challenging - we had our private bathroom outside our room. Just 1 meter away - still we had to put on clothes every time we wanted to go to the loo :)
