Our stay at Gloucester House was an absolute delight thanks to Jonathan and Karen, and their wonderful team. From the moment we arrived, we received a welcome at the door, were assisted with our bags, thereafter guided to our room where we were greeted with special, personalised touches that made our visit unforgettable. There we could relax after our long journey and sit on the quaint balcony looking out onto the beachfront. The attention to detail was exceptional—thoughtful little gestures showed how much they care about their guests. The breakfast was delicious - plenty to choose from with GF and V options and hot breakfast from the menu (which could also be adapted). The staff were friendly, polite, and genuinely sweet, always going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Their kindness and warmth made us feel right at home. Jonathan’s dedication to hospitality shines through and it is reflected in every membrr of the team. When we return to Weymouth, we would definitely choose here again. Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic stay at Gloucester House on Weymouth Esplanade. The location couldn’t have been more ideal — right on the seafront with great views of the beach and just a short walk to everything. There’s a car park just a couple of minutes away behind the guest house, which was really convenient and a good price. Jonathan & Karen were absolutely lovely — so friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. They made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The guest house itself is spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated, with a warm and comfortable atmosphere throughout. Breakfast was fantastic — there was a great choice to suit everyone, and everything was cooked to perfection. The girls serving were all so nice, helpful, and friendly, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would highly recommend Gloucester House to anyone visiting Weymouth!

Everything! Location is perfect - right on the seafront and 5 minute walk into town and the harbour where all the restaurants/pubs/bars are. Rooms - clean, comfortable and homely with all the amenities you need. Service - Can’t speak highly enough about the level of service and attention to detail of every single person we encountered, all the way from the girls serving breakfast to Jonathan and Karen who are so friendly and welcoming, ready to be on hand to help with anything you need with a smile on their face. Breakfast - the other reviews weren’t lying. It’s delicious. Cold food buffet and hot food made to order by Karen, great ingredients and very homely breakfast room. 100% recommend and will be coming back.

Fabulous stay, would highly recommend. The hosts, Jonathan and Karen, have thought of everything to make the stay comfortable. It is better than some 5 star hotels, we now understand why the reviews are all excellent. Delicious breakfast (so much selection!) and incredibly welcoming. One of our family members was given an upgrade too which was incredibly kind. Beautiful hotel and everything immaculate. Amazing location. We will be back! Please don’t hesitate to book, it really is 10/10!

There isn’t a hotel car park (but that’s quite normal in Weymouth) but parking wasn’t a problem for us at all as Jonathan the host told us in advance where we could park very close by.

We loved Everything ! The location was perfect, Johnathan was delightful, our room was excellent with so many little extras, this was topped off with an outstanding breakfast, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, and we are looking forward to a return visit, we were in Weymouth to attend a concert at the Pavilion which we can't wait to repeat, thank you for such a lovely stay. We were really pleased with our stay at Gloucester House as it is a very nice hotel, modern and with all the facilities needed. It is ideally situated for visiting the many sights in Weymouth as it is on the esplanade and short walking distance from the landmark train, on/off on buses and train. The staff are very good, especially Jonathan the owner who was very friendly and helpful.

The only minor thing was the size of corner shower in the bathroom in the family room, it was slightly snug for an adult to use but it wasn’t a problem or an inconvenience.

Everything. We were given a very warm welcome. Then a map of where to go in Weymouth. We then got taken to our room and the room was immaculate. Beds were comfortable and the sea view was great. Also had a set of Binoculars if you want to check out the views from outside. Breakfast was so good. All staff were brilliant and would definitely stay here again if we go to Weymouth again. The lounge was beautiful too. You can drop your luggages there and have a nice walk all over Weymouth beach.

Husband and wife were very kind and warm and always helpful if you needed anything. They made you feel very welcomed and as if they were going the extra mile just for you. The place was done up nicely and the breakfast was delicious. Ideal location right by the sea and easy to access anywhere in Weymouth town. Would highly recommend this B&B.

Jonathan and Karen are amazing hosts. Right from the welcome through to advising us on local sightseeing, breakfasts, room debrief, it was all warm. The property and rooms are very clean and all done to a great modern standard. The breakfast is delicious and the staff is very kind! We had no complaints whatsoever. Our room had the most amazing sea facing view. The location is a convenient 3 min walk from station and a stone’s throw from the beach, right on the esplanade and close to nearby restaurants and local market.

Great location and wonderful sea view from our room. The room was well decorated, clean and had everything we needed. Fabulous tea/coffee including decaffeinated coffee available in the room. Fresh milk available and lovely biscuits. Clean and fluffy towels, hairdryer and toiletries. Breakfast was fabulous, great cold choice of fruit, pastries, yoghurt, cereal and the cooked Dorset Breakfast was perfect! When returning to Weymouth we will certainly stay at Gloucester House again. Great hosts, thank you for a perfect stay.
