We've just spent 3 nights at Stones throw. And we had such a fantast time, from arrival to leaving. We truly couldn't have found a more perfect place to stay The location is perfect with a 3 minute walk to the train station and a 5 minute walk to the town centre and a Stones throw from the beach like 1 minute .. Nikki is just amazing and the perfect host we couldn't ask for more. She was always on hand from cooking a gorgeous breakfast to always making sure we had everything we needed no matter the time . The accommodation was absolutely spotless in every way possible ,definitely attention to detail. Ant to be honest the best nights sleep I've had in ages the bed was that comfortable with the best bedding available. So overall I would give Stones throw 10/10 and we will definitely book with Nikki again with out a doubt.. Oh by the way she has the most amazing cakes and biscuits for the guests Honestly they are to die for So thank you Nikki..
Can't find Nothing i didn't like . Our stay was perfect in every way possible..

We were greeted by a lovely lady Nikki the owner who made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was excellent. Each day was a small free cake for all her visitors which were very tasty. A lovely touch. Plenty of tea and coffee in our room plus if we wanted we could have fresh milk left in a fridge for us to help ourselves. The room was very clean and nicely decorated with good quality towels in the ensuite.
The only negative we can think of was the ensuite shower room was very narrow but after we worked out the best way to use it, there wasn't a problem. Whoever designed it was very clever in what was used and where, you couldn't have come up with a better solution apart from maybe widening it by taking a bit more of the bedroom away. But I must say it didn't impede our stay in any way.

Nikki was a brilliant host and her breakfasts was outstanding. My poached eggs were done to perfection and you could tell that she used first class produce. The little extra touches, the fresh milk in little flasks from the fridge and the homemade biscuits and cakes were a lovely bonus. The location couldn't have been better for us, literally a 'stone's throw' away from the promenade and the shops.
Our bathroom was compact, awkward to get into and the lighting wasn't very good. However, that said, I think that the access problem could be easily rectified with a furniture move.

Nikki is an exceptional host, her aim to make sure you are as comfortable and as 'at home' as you could be. I took my dog Frodo, and Nikki treated him like royalty. He immediately fell under her spell! Our room was absolutely lovely. Perfectly warm with very comfy beds (for both of us) and Frodo had a whole jar of treats and I was spoilt too with homemade biscuits. Breakfast was second to none, so delicious, beautifully cooked to order, well seasoned and just to say, the slow roasted tomatoes I had on the second day were knockout! I am awaiting an operation and can't walk far at the moment, but this is situated just a short walk from the beach which Frodo loves, so is also another reason to enjoy being here. Will be wanting to return. Nikki, you do an amazing job! Thank you
I found nothing to criticise at all!

Hosts were exceptional, lovely welcome as soon as we pulled up. Our room was really cosy and well equipped. Our king sized bed was so comfortable and plenty of cupboard space too. Breakfasts were cooked to perfection every day. Special little home made cakes and biscuits were there every day for us to enjoy, (which we did), a lovely gesture. Nothing was too much trouble and Nikki always had a warm friendly smile each morning at breakfast time. All in all, a great dog friendly guest house which is, as the name suggests, a "Stones Throw" from the beach and town. We will definitely return.
There was absolutely nothing to dislike as the hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.

The room was very clean & tidy, with plenty of tea/ coffee making facilities. Niki was lovely & very helpful. We took our dog Murphy with us & even his needs were well catered for with a towel to dry him off & a bandana to keep him cool. You were quite literally a stones from anywhere you needed to go in weymouth. You even had a pub 2 min walk away up the street. Would definitely consider going back. Would definitely recommend a stay at stones throw
The only problem we had was that the bathroom sink was a little shallow & the shelf above was a little too close.

We had a fantastic time during our stay. The room was spotlessly clean and smelled amazing throughout our visit. It's clear that Nickie, the lovely host, pays attention to every detail, not only in the room but also to the needs of the guests. There were so many cute little touches that I couldn't mention them all, but they truly reflected the host's dedication to ensuring a great experience for guests. Nickie is super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was freshly cooked and tasty. We were so taken by the food that I forgot to take some pictures, haha 😂. Anyway I highly recommend staying here.

Perfect location. Comfortable and quiet, especially given room was next to the front door. Delicious cooked breakfast. Helpful free map of Weymouth & welcome pack, with ideas of where to visit, eat & drink. Friendly, welcoming and accommodating hosts, with great communication.
Strong smelling room freshners and laundry scent (this is coming from simeone who is sensitive to strong smells and opt for unfagranced wherever possible).

From the first email to the check in Nikki couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming. The welcome for our dog was first class with treats, bowls and a doggie bed..oh and the humans too with a gift of a delicious Dorset apple cake ! The property is cosy, the rooms are modern with good tea and coffee with fresh milk available great, the location is perfect for the beach and the town. Breakfast is great too with a good choice. On-site parking is a bonus too. We'll be back for sure..... lots to see and do in Weymouth.
Really can't think of anything worth saying in this regard.

Perfect location, close to the beach, shops and harbour, also ideally placed for buses to surrounding areas, friendly hosts, we were made welcome as soon as we arrived, the room was clean and comfortable, great quality towels and toiletries. Lovely homemade treats, fresh milk freely available for our room. On-site parking was a major bonus. Breakfast was amazing, a large choice and best quality ingredients. We loved it so much we will be returning.
