Having holidayed in beautiful Weymouth on various occasions, The Angove Guest House is by far the most superior accommodation we have ever experienced in the town. We have just returned from a three night break to celebrate our first wedding anniversary and it was made all the more memorable owing to the quality of our stay. We were allocated Room 6, which was immaculate and benefits from a generous balcony from which we enjoyed spectacular sea views whilst bathing in glorious sunshine! Our room was perfect for couples, well furnished and serviced daily with ample amenities of great quality. The bed was also extremely comfortable, which sadly is seldom the case in many equivalent establishments. The property itself is decorated with great taste and the extremely friendly hosts, Simon and Vanessa, could simply not have done any more to make us feel entirely welcome. Added to this was a breakfast befitting the finest of hotels and we were able to savour this at our leisure in sumptuous surroundings. We shall definitely be returning and would encourage others to make a reservation. A huge thank you from Mathew & Nicola.

The property was very clean throughout and had a lovely charm. The owners were very welcoming. We were given a parking permit as well which was a great addition and the car park is only a short walk away. Great location and recommend going to the old harbour. Our room had a sea view and lovely addition of two chairs with a fold down table. Wine glasses also in the room with a mini fridge. Tea/coffee/hot chocolate and biscuits was a lovely addition. The breakfast was superb with fresh coffee served in a cafeteria. Excellent value for money.

The water pressure was low and shower door didn’t close fully but that is only a minor issue.

Absolutely incredible!! Staff are absolutely amazing. Rooms are very clean and tidy. The whole house is beautiful! Your allowed to sit downstairs also, your not isolated in your room. Honestly the angove is such a beautiful place to stay. It's my first choice now. Always will be first choice. Breakfast included with out price that we chose. You can have a full English of your choice. Help yourself to cereal, juice, toast/bread ect. Tea/coffee offered when you sit down. Sea view breakfast !! Refreshments downstairs with an honesty box , for example Take 2 cans of coke , write room number, quantity and cash on the plate. Cctv all around, so your very safe and secure. Your own key also. They have done such a fantastic job with their beautiful place. Couldn't believe how amazing it looked. So much hard work and dedication has gone into the angove. Much appreciated.

There is nothing to not like !!!!

We very much enjoyed our couple of nights at the Angove. Staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating. Whilst it is obviously an old building every effort has been made to make the decor/etc welcoming. Our accommodation was roomy, although the bathroom (understandably was a little small). Breakfast was delicious, as others have mentioned. The hotel is just a few minutes walk from the railway station and quite close to the old harbour, and directly across the road from the town beach. Would have no hesitation recommending.

Bathroom could have been a little bigger, but this was only a minor inconvenience.

Lovely location, easy to walk into the town and beach across the road! Vanessa and Simon were very welcoming and ensured we had everything we needed Clear to see they've put a lot of love and character into their home and guest accommodation, and it's still ongoing with plans to further improve. Beautifully decorated bedrooms. Fabulous breakfast options Added bonus, mini fridge in the room, with a great selection of hot drinks sachets and fresh milk provided, and more offered if needed. Everything was lovely, fresh and clean too. Highly recommend for a lovely stay.

If I was pushed to say something, the bathroom was small and shower not very powerful, but worked and was lovely and warm. No sea view for us but you don't go away to sit in your room 🤣 Certainly not a deal breaker.

Great location, beautiful building, warm welcome from Simon on arrival. I called ahead as we were arriving earlier than check in time & very kindly I was able to check in early. Sea view twin room was light & airy, nicely done up, comfortable & very clean throughout. So many nice touches including a mini fridge in our room. Great breakfast, lots of choice & lovely touches to the breakfast/seating area. Speedy too with Vanessa & Simon interacting with their guests which I always find preferable. Nothing was too much trouble for the friendly owners pre trip & whilst staying. Really nice couple whom seem dedicated to their business. I wish them every success here. I would definitely stay here again when I come to Weymouth for an overnight stay... if its not fully booked! I recommend The Angove 😀 Thanks for a lovely stay guys 💐

Everything was spot on.

Location(right by the beachfront), decor, ambience, size of the bedroom & bathroom, hosts(friendly & polite), cleanliness, comfortable bed, eco friendly(free milk served in glass bottles & refillable too), privacy, tasty cooked breakfast, luggage storage so you can explore the area some more, miles of beaches that you can enjoy your walk or run, restaurants all around to choose from, train station is a short walk away, plenty of attractions Including the Nothe Fort, harbour is nearby, Jurassic Coast(Durdle Door) is accessible both by private & public transport.

Perhaps the early check out(10am). Maybe extend it to 11am or 12 o’clock? Some parts of the corridor floors are creaky(considering the age of the property , this is maybe expected but could have been rectified when renovations were done).

Our room was really beautiful with stunning seaview. The added bonus was the balcony with table and chairs for us to enjoy the view. The perfect location for the beach, and the town and it's amenities are only minutes away. The breakfast was delicious with a great selection of hot and cold options. Vanessa and Simon sre perfect hosts and the Angove and it's beautiful rooms are a credit to them. Don,t hesitate to book you stay, you won't be disappointed. Thanks we will be back again.

Nothing - everything was spot on

A lovely boutique hotel with lots of character,it has its own special charm and beauty. Very comfortable bed and pillow amd our room has a beautiful sea view. This place also provide hot tasty breakfast for you to start your day. Vanessa and Simon were very friendly host and they look after us very well. Highly recomended if you coming to Weymouth for a holiday. Despite the weather,we left this place feeling relax because we had a really good time staying at this hotel that has an awesome host like them.. Thank you very much!

From the entrance hall to the room the decor was beautiful, it ws clean warm and welcoming on a cold February day. We had a small room with a sea view but was completely as stated on the website but don’t let it put you off as it had everything we needed and the sea view was amazing. Breakfast was lovely, we really couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The hosts were also lovely and very warm and welcoming. We will definitely be returning.
