Very friendly and helpful host, the key was available as soon as I arrived, the host gave me a demonstration of opening the entrance door to avoid any confusion so this was really helpful. The facilities excellent with tea and coffee and biscuits, also additional cereal, fruit, tea, coffee, juice, bread/toast, yoghurt in the dining room for the morning. The hotel clean and tidy, including the room, great value for money and an excellent location, was able to park so overall a great experience and I will return on my next visit to Weymouth.

Our room was comfortable and the host was very kind and accommodating. Breakfast is simple but filling (toast, cereal etc.). Location is a little out of the centre but that is reflected in the price. Nice little pub around the corner that we enjoyed visiting. If we return to Weymouth we would stay here again!

Room was slightly noisy - on two separate occasions we could hear other people having arguments on the street. Not the hosts fault though by any means

This place is a little gem. I travel a lot to Weymouth for Work almost weekly and due to places hiking up the prices I stayed at the Driftwood as that was in works budget i am so glad i did. The staff couple where lovely really friendly, explained where everything was the set up lovely hosting i felt really welcome. Free parking and on the drive :) it says no breakfast - but there was a lovely choice, which was clean and tidy and fresh Plenty of tea and coffee and biscuits ! biscuit jar was a lovely touch ! Clean and tidy room I was upgraded to a bigger room as well Not to far to walk to the Esplanade - less seagull noises Wifi was great TV in room worked no signal problems and there was a dining room, which was lovely as in some communal spaces you feel like you have to sit with everyone but there was a plenty of tables if you are a bit antisocial like me slept like a baby no noise in evening really lovely stay would defiantly come back

Couldn't fault the place or hosts. Only downside was that someone's kids where up early and a bit noisy

The room was a lovely clean family room with adjoining toilet/shower. My 7 year old loved the bunk bed and my partner and I could keep an eye on him from our almost adjoining bed. The tv in the room had built in Netflix which was great. Breakfast was a self service and on offer were all sorts of fresh/cold items such as cereals, fruits, yoghurts and bread. The dining area also had a warm family feel to it. The hosts are very friendly people who gave advise on the local area and even offered that we use the buckets and spades for a trip to the beach.

To be honest, there wasn't really anything I didn't like about this property!

A nice family room with a small en-suite. On site parking always a benefit. An easy 10 min walk to the beach & town centre. Breakfast was simple but just what we needed. And a special mention that there were a number of Gluten free cereals & a loaf of bread. The Host also said if we had wanted to bring a takeaway back we could use the dining room & utensils.

There are flags outside of our bedroom windows which made noise all night. As it was fairly warm we needed to keep the windows open. I think this is the only room that had them, so you may want to check when booking.

The owner was welcoming and very helpful. He gave us loads of useful local information. The range of breakfast items available for the self service breakfast was impressive, from what I could see catering for all dietary requirements. Our room and en-suite were immaculately clean. Nice hot shower! Quiet street so no external noises. We were able to walk to the harbour with ease. A great find and we'll definitely stay again when we revisit Weymouth.

EXCELLENT COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE HOST AND THE ROOM AND SETTING WERE VERY GOOD INDEED. HAD A GOOD NIGHTS SELEEP EXCEPT AROUND 12.30/1AM WHEN THERE WAS A BIT OF DISTURBANCE OUTSIDE THE ROOM

GOOD CLEAN ROOM WITH PLENTY OF SPACE FOR A 1 NIGHT STAY LOO AND SHOWER WERE LOVELY AND CLEAN WITH PLENTY OF TOWELS ACCESS WITH THE KEY SAFE WAS SIMPLE ENOUGHG A PLEASANT STAY AND WILL BE MORE THAN HAPPY TO STAY THERE AGIN NEXT YEAR

The owners were absolutely superb and could not have been more helpful and accommodating. They went out of their way to ensure my daughter enjoyed her breakfast by going to the shop and buying certain fruits that she liked. Would definitely stay here again, value for money

The room above us were noisy throughout our stay - sometimes until 3am! I don’t know if this was because they were overly noisy or that the walls were thin.

We had a brilliant stay at the driftwood, Pete was a great host, from the welcome, to all he did for us during our stay. The breakfast room was stocked with all you would need for a continental breakfast ,with tea ,coffee and biscuits in the room. We will definitely stay again ,and would recommend the Driftwood to anyone seeking a relaxing stay in Weymouth

Owners were incredibly friendly and helpful - sorted us out with some great recommendations for an evening in Weymouth, gave us a tour of the facilities. Make sure you phone beforehand to let them know your arrival time, as with Booking.com we didn’t receive this, so it will be smoother to just phone in advance. Would 100% stay here again
