My husband , myself and our dog Freddie ,were welcomed with warmth and thoughtfulness. We loved everything about it. We chose to eat in the restaurant at lunchtime and evening and the food was great. The village of St Marie, is mainly residential and not particularly touristy. It's close to a fantastic wild beach , which we enjoyed too... Therefore, the standard of the dining experience was really important as there weren't many options in the village. The hotel is very modern and very nice indeed. The staff were exceptional, if I only customer service was like this everywhere. There's a lovely patisserie and market in the village.. if you prefer a non touristy experience, this would make a brilliant place to base yourself. You can even hire bicycles to go off for the day from there. We would happily recommend this to anyone considering staying here. Thanks for a great experience staying with you.

Fabulous small hotel and restaurant on a square, away from the more touristy areas of St Martin de Re, but within an easy cycle ride. Room was simple, with everything we needed. Our room was over the square (Room 103) so could be noisy in the summer I imagine. We ate twice in the restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed both meals - important to book as it gets full quickly, lots of people without reservations were turned away on both evenings. Staff were friendly and welcoming.

The restaurant.it’s overpriced and serves nasty food. It will be really great if the restaurant werent a part of this hotel.

An excellent small hotel with a medium to large restaurant attached. The breakfast was very good , fresh fruit and croissants, bacon eggs and cheese , a fresh coffee bean state of the art machine which also made hot chocolate and not a watery version but a very yummy hot chocolate. I was meeting with my family and friends from a campsite and 15 of us ate at the hotel on my second night of stay. We all enjoyed our meals .the hotel sits on a little square and in the morning there is a small market .,But not noisy. The rooms were clean and the air con worked well until i stupidly opened the window slightly and forgot to close it .Then a sensor switch it of my fault. Yes I would stay there again. Also note that if you arrive in to La Rochelle by train you can get a bus onto the island I was collected by car and there was a 15 euro toll but I went back by bus and it was 2 euros excellent service .Also we found all the restaurants very competitively priced considering it was peak season .😊

The hotel was lovely with very helpful and friendly staff. Our room was very comfortable. We also hired bikes from the hotel and had somewhere safe to store them at night.

The WiFi was terrible. Had to rely on my own 4G for reception.

The room was a good size with all the facilities you require, the staff were so pleasant, great restaurant, the location in the small village was super, and the 12€ breakfast great value. Punches well above a 2* rating.

Weather was a bit stormy, but that's not the hotel's fault!!

Not really. Maybe a bit more storage space would have been good.

It’s the fourth time we have stayed at the hotel, so we think it has everything we need for a nice stay on the island.

We have noticed that there is not sufficient shower gel for a two night stay. I’m sure there was more when we first stayed!

Clean room. Good breakfast. Good dinner.

It was very windy on the Island in mid of June. Maybe worth to Check the weather condition before booking. But nothing what the Hotel can Change :)

Lovely small hotel with an excellent restaurant. Our room was very comfortable with a good bathroom and air conditioning.

It is located in a very small village with only a small number of restaurants. Local beach is quite stoney. There are better beaches nearby.
