Location was great. The cleanliness, quality and style of rooms were perfect for a mid week break. We didn’t use either of the swimming pools; however, they looked very clean and were heated. The restaurant food quality was very good and there seems to be a trend of non guests that visit the restaurant in the evening. Super close to the beach, a delightful indoor food market and an outside marché that happens every day. Bike hire €11 for a half day was very reasonable.

Parking allocated was two streets away in a locked enclosure. There are approximately 7/8 parking spaces on site, however you are not guaranteed an on site space.

A small family run hotel with traditional single story accommodation arranged around 2 swimming pools. Our rooms were really comfortable, house keeping was every day and very thorough. Comfortable beds, shower rooms were excellent and lots of storage and space. The breakfast was super with pastries, good bread, ham, cheeses, bacon, eggs, home made and shop yogurts, cereal, juice, coffee etc the same space is used for the evening meal which was excellent. The restaurant is busy every night with outside customers so book! About a five minute walk to the beach or into the town with its daily market, cafes and restaurants. Perfectly placed, all on the level.

There is no obvious bar but then we didn’t ask for drinks so the staff may well have been able to help, worth asking next time.

The location was great, and the food was excellent. Gluten free bread was provided for dietary requirements. The lady waitress at dinner was fantastic, really happy to assist with our questions regarding the menu.

Air conditioning provided was misleading , as the room was cooled through the flooring, however a fan was provided. The young lady on reception was not very welcoming and not very approachable . We felt our questions were too much trouble .

The staff were very accommodating. The service was very good. They put us on a package to alleviate some of the cost. It is the way the hotel industry should operate, in that you really feel like they appreciate your custom and are ready to give something back.

We had a very positive experience (only stayed 3 nights) and would find it hard to find fault with this place.

Nice layout not high rise.

In the family room the double bed was two twins pushed together. And one of the single beds was a z bed. It was not comfortable for an adult. Three adults where staying in the room but only two catered for . I had to ask for the extras. Staff could learn to smile especially in the dining room.

Lovely hotel with top class staff, always ready to help. Food was very good, as expected. The location was perfect for us being between the village with it's daily market, and the beach with it's excellent beach bar.

Our stay was in June with temperatures in the low to mid 20s. There were shutters on all windows which worked well. I imagine in high summer that room would become unbearably hot.

Very friendly staff, beautiful rooms, the €50 deal with 3 course meal & breakfast included was brilliant value & the food was exceptional.

Our air con made a banging sound once it got going that was hard to sleep through.

Pool areas were very nice, although some rooms were a little too close. Nice loungers & parasols & a nice relaxing space. Close to town centre with a daily market & a few shops. Nice reception area and lounge. Staff were pleasant.

Extra charges for parking. Extra charges for breakfast - selection for breakfast was average/poor.

Stayed for a week. Hotel is in a great location close to the beach (which we think is one of the nicest on the island). The hotel is super quiet, so clean and very well maintained. We booked a superior double and the room was a great size, nicely decorated, facing the pool with seats outside and was cleaned daily. Tea and coffee provided and also toiletries. We didn’t do breakfast so can’t comment on that but we did do dinner here one night and just wish we had eaten here more than that. Food is incredible - make a reservation as soon as you can as it’s always booked up! We hired bikes which is 12 euros per day and this is a great way to see the rest of the Island. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Loved ile de re and will definitely visit again and stay here.

only thing missing that would make me score it a 10 is a fridge.
