I only wish that we could have stayed longer at the Karen eco Lodge, it was amazing. The rooms were nice and had a lovely balcony where we watched the sun come up over the rice fields and the mist slowly evaporate. We ate dinner here and it was lovely, served with care by the wonderful smiley staff. All the food was good and very tasty but the kebabs were out of this world. The Lodge had a variety of activities we could have done, had we had time, and lots of interesting places to sit and take in the beauty of the area. It is in an ideal place to explore lots of places nearby. The lady that owns the Lodge told me very interesting things about the plants and trees that grow there. I would love to go back and spend more time there and would recommend it to all.

Breakfast was very good, Home Cooked Western and Asian Standard. The Farm/Country setting was what we liked most, and met our expectations. And most of all the Staff made our stay most welcome.

Hot water shower was adequate , but could have been better. Great if the lights were brighter, or alternatively provide reading lights.

I loved everything about my stay at Karen. It was really late when I arrived, much later than expected. My hosts were literally two of the most amazing people I had ever met. They were so kind to me when I arrived even though I had put them out by being so late. When I woke up in the morning the view out my window was so beautiful and peaceful that the previous nights frustrations melted away. The staff were full of smiles and took such great care of me even though there was a language barrier. I really loved that they still continued to speak to me in Thai even if I didn't totally understand what they were saying. I work a high stress, high demand profession and it is difficult for me to relax my mind. Karen did just that. In the morning I would walk to the dining hall and be served with aromatic, tasty dishes while listening to the music play and the lizards chirp. I have so much more to say but alas, I am out of room to type- maybe I should create a blog about my travels in Thailand. what a beautiful country and it is indeed the land of smiles. Thank you to everyone that touched my life while at Karen- my lovely hosts, the staff, the taxi drivers, the wonderful community of the Karen Tribe that welcomed me into their village... I will see you all again soon

This was not a bad thing, just something that was different- I am not used to a hard mattress so it took me by surprise. I did have peaceful sleep on it though so maybe I need to switch at home!

Lovely place in the middle of the nature. Staff is very kind and helpful. Rooms are basic and clean. Showers okayish but important to take into account this being an Eco Lodge. Dinner and breakfast were good. We’ve only stayed one night as we were not able to do the trekking tour due to the recent heavy rainfall. We did visit the elephant camp which was a great experience which they will always remember.

As they are having no card services, make sure to take enough cash with u. There seems to be one ATM in the small village, however does access Thai bank passes only.

breakfast is excellent and dinner more organize and yummy. if you like to bring yours own food is fine for keep in refreeze. fresh fruit and there dogs so lovely.

the way to get down to the river is very deep for normal comfort car. if they can make the way down and up to the hotel is better drive through.

The staff was very attentive, friendly, and helpful, catering to all of our needs. The location is close to lots of outdoor activities, including elephants, and the rural setting was very relaxing. The food was also amazing!

The staff and the two owners were wonderful and were really committed to making our stay lovely and memorable. Thank you! We really loved our little house directly by the rice fields.

The mattress was quite hard and a bit uncomfortable.

Delicious food, clean and tidy rooms, excellent helpful staff who organised activities for us to do.
