Our vacation in Poreč, Croatia 🇭🇷 at Valamar Diamant Hotel turned out to be such a fun and truly relaxing trip — absolutely stress-free! The hotel itself was amazing 🏨, offering plenty of in-house activities, while also being very close to great attractions like the beautiful beaches 🏖️ and Aquacolours Water Park 💦. Special recognition goes to the staff who made our stay extra memorable: Nada at the dining entrance, whose warm and welcoming smile was the perfect start to every morning; Meda, the pizza chef, for his dedication, speed, and quality of preparation; and Stela & Zehnomir, who showed remarkable openness, care, and warmth, especially towards the kids — truly the right people at the right place.

Breakfast was good in quality, but the menu was almost the same each day. Introducing more variety would make the mornings even more enjoyable. In Dinner try to introduce variety especially in Fish.

The food was delicious, the hotel was nicely decorated, and the staff was friendly. It's great for children. They have many attractions for children of all ages. My kids (7 and 9) liked the blue playhouses, which you can put together as you like and let your imagination run wild, and of course - the gaming room. The indoor pool is nothing special, but it's still big enough for the kids to have some fun. We didn't use the outdoor pool because it was still too cold outside.

The only minus is the location - we were here in May and did not plan to swim in the sea, so it was OK with us. But we would be very disappointed if we came here in the summer because the beach is unpleasant. The beach area is pretty much abandoned, not suitable for kids.

Excellent breakfast and diner, professional teamwork in the restaurant. Great facilities to entertain the family, especially the children. Confortable beds. Pleasant indoor and outdoor pools.

The sauna is not included in the price. The sea near the hotel is deep, not the best for children. We used the Lanterna beach instead. The building is not a new one, but it is clean and well maintained. Water pressure is not always enough for a good shower.

Food was great, very tasty and lots of things to choose from! Also suitable for vegetarians, those with allergies (gluten-free, low fat). Food was fresh, a lot of different salad, desert and fruits to choose from.

The room's cleanliness was not 5stars, but it was"ok". Also room needed some renovation, i guess (bathroom, wall painting, etc.)

Restaurant was very good,good choices of food..comfortable beds.

Handball team was not good in restaurant, throwing food and putting salt and pepper in glasses,no manners. No drink offered in restaurant on the night off my birthday but wine in the room was appreciated. Reception not very friendly.

Perfect location, close to center(15 min walk by the sea), quiet area, extraordinary breakfast&dinner, adult fkk wellness spa, and a warm indoor pool for the kids&family (a small area to swim) and a baby pool. Great kids area with toys and Xbox stuff. Very friendly staff.

None of the pillows were comfortable Maybe a kettle and hair conditioner would be usefull in the room

Overall, my experience was very good and pleasant. I really liked the approach Filip from reception had and 2 cleaning ladies on the 4th floor. Bar tenders were below the level you expect in 4 star hotel. Nothing really bad happened, but they can improve on basics (bring water with coffee, ask do you want something if you sit in the lobby, etc)

Noise isolation in rooms could be better.

Totally family friendly hotel with lots of activities for children from toddlers to adolescents. Amazing choice of food for breakfast and dinner. Location is nearby the beach and pedestrian zone to the center of town. Bar in the hotel offers amazing sort of drinks and staff is always available. All in all, place for leisure and pleasure for whole family.

Food excellent Ambiance good

I accepted a disabled room so that I could be on the same floor as my daughters room, but the bathroom shower flooded the bathroom and was very dangerous for me at 74 years. I should have changed the room, I’m sure the hotel would have obliged but we were on a very busy business trip and we didn’t have time to mess about.

The buffet breakfast and dinner was exceptional, both the meals and the staff The pool was nice too The kids facilities (Marlo Club) programs all day isa great help for parents, I highlight staff Zvonimir who was very supportive to our son, highly appriciate the effort
