The location of the hotel is amazing. The territory and the room are kept very well cleaned. A good variety of leisure activities, including the ones for kids (big 'thank you' to the ladies who run the kids club during the daytime). Friendly and helpful personnel. One of the swimming pools has sea water. Beautiful areas of the two islands. A small beach bar next to the harbor is a cosy place to escape to from the midday sun. There is a private outdoor parking on the mainland with the free shuttle service.

Outdated hairdriers. The sink water mixer in the bathroom as well as the shower pipe were broken (but still functioning).

The hotel was set on a beautiful island location. Sun beds were available all over at any time of the day. The lobby and bar area were nice and relaxing with great views and breakfast was good. Good service for the boat. We mixed between the pool, harbour and beach by the pool. Beach was best, but sea shoes are a must. The sea was calm and so clear. Absolutely loved Rovinj. Lots of restaurants and gift shops. Most beautiful town I’ve ever seen and one of the nicest holidays I’ve had. The island location made it that bit more special.

The bedrooms for me were fine. Very clean. Yes a little dated but fine. I had booked to 2 superior rooms. The bathroom in one was very clean . The shower door does let water out but a towel wedged in gap sorts it. The other bathroom was a little worn with a bit of mould on the grout but mostly white. The bath was a bit tired looking. But it was clean and didn’t ruin the holiday at all.

Breakfasts and dinners are very tasty, a huge selection of dishes, desserts, fruits, drinks. Daily assortment of meat, poultry, fish, vegetables... In the evening there is always white and red wine, beer, juices and other drinks... My children were very pleased, especially with French fries, pizza, cakes, ice cream... Reception specialists is the face of the Hotel! Face of the Hotel Island Istra is veri nice, clever, friendly, smiling, understanding, always ready to help! A green island in the azure sea with the cries of seagulls and the whisper of an incoming wave - what could be more romantic for a summer holiday...

Beer would be nice in the morning too...)))

The location is extraordinary, the whole island is very nice and peaceful. The room was of a good size, very clean and with a very beautiful view. The wellness area is really great. The breakfast and dinner offered a rich variety of dishes, including some Istrian specialties (especially pastries), which could be better marked. Drinks from the spine (wine, beer and non-alcoholic) were included in the price.

There was a water heater in the room, but no coffee or tea bags. We expected to have slippers and bathrobes in the room (even though it wasn't specified in the room description). The bathrobes were provided for an extra fee.

The hotel and island are lovely, with lots of places to relax. Surrounded by the sea, it's very pretty. The staff are friendly, breakfast buffet is great. We really enjoyed our stay.

There is no access to drinking water. You can have drinking water as part of the buffet meals, but other than that you can only buy expensive, relatively small glass bottles in the bar area. None of the shops on site stock bottled water. This is a real issue when you are on an island. We asked about where we could refill our bottles and they said the bathroom sink! They need to sort this out and either sell bottled water in the shop/cafe, or allow guests to refill from the filtered water in the buffet throughout the day. You can't leave guests with no access to affordable water.

The hotel is very nice! We loved the location and the transfer by ferry boat to the island. The food offer was really great! Everything was tasty! Various options of the menu. We liked that there are different beaches on the island and that all areas were available for the guests of the hotel. Despite the fact that the hotel is big, it didn't feel crowded and it was very comfortable. We would like to return to this hotel.

The cleaning was diligent. But in the bathroom we had a mold on the ceiling which seems inappropriate for the hotel of this level. On the 1st of August we were in the city and huge storm came to that area. Because of that, the ferry boat departure was delayed, which is, of course, understandable. The problem was that the employees of the boat were giving confusing information about the departure. They said we can't board the first available boat because it's full, but we can board the next one departing in 2 minutes. But then it turned out to be in 1 hour and the next boat didn't pick up anybody from the dock. Considering force majeure situation we understand fully that such things can happen, but there should a protocol for communicating out the information better.

Location due to the very nice beaches nearby and short boat ride to the center of Rovinj. Very kind and helpful staff.

Very nice, but small spa area for the size of the hotel. Bathroom needs refurbishing , rather old and had plenty of stains in the bath tub that made it look dirty. It would have been better to get more than one beach towel during the stay (any other has additional charge). Basilico pizzeria as one of the restaurants has a great menu (pizza is very delicious) but works only until 22h, which is not very comfortable if one stays at the beach longer or wishes to have a late dinner at the island.

Fantastic location on an island just off Rovinj. The boat service to and from the mainland is fantastic. We were half board with a fantastic breakfast and buffet dinner. The buffet is good however if you consider yourself a foodie you might want to go for dinner over in Rovinj. In a week we ate at the buffet 3 times. Whilst in the buffet you can drink local wine and beer but that ends at 930pm. Our bed was very comfortable with good air conditioning so we slept great all week. Despite being busy it's very quiet and seems to go to sleep around 10pm so not a location for party people or night owls.

Bar quite expensive and the wine isn't great. But that's Croatia, not known for it's wine. Hotel is a little tired and the bathroom/shower was tiny. A general refresh of the rooms could be required but communal areas were very nice and modern feeling.

Our stay at the Istra hotel on Sv. Andrija Island in Rovinj exceeded all our expectations. The beautiful surroundings provided the perfect backdrop for a truly relaxing holiday. A special thank you to Tomislav at reception for his excellent recommendations, allowing us to experience the best of Rovinj. The food was exceptional, with every meal showcasing fantastic flavors. Kiara from the wellness center deserves recognition for her outstanding massage, which left us feeling completely rejuvenated. Special recognition to the entire staff, who, even at the end of the season, managed to keep a warm smile on their faces and provide top-notch service. We can’t wait to return and relive this amazing experience! Highly recommended!

The Hotel left a great impression, very clean and exceeded our expectations. The rooms didn't look very impressive here on Booking, seeing them in-person definitely looked a lot better (though the toilet flushes really badly). Staff is super friendly and we really liked how smoothly everything was organized around the parking and boat transport. We definitely recommend taking the boat often (as it's free for Hotel guests), we even saw Dolphins swimming right next to us on one occasion!

The only thing we didn't really like is the access to water, there is the option to go to the gym, spa area or lobby (was not always there) but anywhere else you're either required to buy drinks from the bar or bring your own drinks. The buffet was nice but the 30€ for dinner (per person) was definitely not worth it (lot of variety but the taste was not that special) - take the free boat to Rovinj, eat there in a fancy restaurant and you'll save a bunch of money, see beautiful scenery and have a great boat ride.
