The staff were so friendly and welcoming! The hotel was extremely pristine and beautiful! The breakfast was the best we’ve ever had at a hotel. The food was fresh, tasty and gourmet! We traveled with our 10 month old and the room was perfect, 2 rooms with a shared bathroom (one of the rooms had a crib which was fantastic)! The hotel was about 8 mins drive to town, parking was easy to find. The pool was beautiful and very clean, practically had it to ourselves. The hotel is also in front of a park/ beach cove that had a couple of restaurants, trails to walk or bike on! Great location!!! We will recommend this wonderful place to family and friends and will come back!! Thank you Residence Vaal!!

We felt like we were staying in a 5-star hotel. The breakfast was simply wonderful, with a wide variety of options. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was very clean and equipped with everything you might need. We were also lucky, as the outdoor pool had just opened that week. The beach is just a 3-minute walk away, and there are plenty of opportunities for recreation (walking, cycling, tennis). The town of Rovinj is a bit further away, but we enjoyed the 20-minute evening walks to the center.

We enjoyed every moment and aspect of our stay at Residence Vaal- overall comfort and feel of the place, ultimate professionalism, attention to detail (e.g.freshly cut flowers on breakfast tables), excellent service and, at the same time, warm reception and care on the part of the owners and staff. The place is sparkling clean, has most comfortable beds in well-appointed rooms, serves absolutely amazing breakfasts (variety), offers good wifi and bikes to rent. We loved our stay there, will return and recommend this place highly.

This is a great family run boutique hotel. It is well located for Cuvi beach and Rovinj. There are plenty of fantastic restaurants in Rovinj. The Delfin sunset boat ride is well worth doing as well as visits to vineyards & olive producers. It is a great area for cycling & walking & the hotel is stylish, comfortable, friendly & clean. As others have said, the breakfasts are fabulous, lots of home cooked vegetables & pastries. All round a great find.

Quite area, clean rooms, water, coffee and bread available the whole day. Interior design is nice. Breakfast is good. Staff are friendly. Free bicycle for 1 day. Parking around the area.

Price is too expensive for a not beach front property. 250€ per night for a flexible room and we had to changed into another room with an upgrade with the downside of packing and unpacking.

Residence Vaal is a great small hotel. The grounds are well designed with areas to relax and 5mins from the beach/forest. The breakfasts are superb, with a great selection of fruit and fresh cooked healthy vegetables, eggs, pastries. It is also very clean and well maintained.

Walking into old town takes 20-25mins although taxis are easy to book.

Comfortable bed and pillows, good breakfast, clean and spacious swimming pool, air conditioner in every room, close to a few beach options, friendly reception.

Housekeeping can be loud in the morning when cleaning other rooms. I woke up at times from the noise around 8.30 am. Coffee quality for breakfast can be improved.

The presentation and quality of the food was excellent, with variations each day, The pool area was very relaxing with staff on hand if you needed anything. The location was quiet but within walking distance of the beautiful coast and a short walk into town with lovely restaurants. I would highly recommend the hotel excellent on all fronts.

This place was amazing. The bed was so comfortable and I loved the little terrace outside our room. We were able to use bikes for free for one day which was perfect for us to take off to town one day. The breakfast was absolutely wonderful. Other guest reviews mentioned this, but is was better than the rave reviews. The walk to town was about 25-30 minutes, but we need exercise!

An amazing hotel. Perfect location for local beaches. Quiet. Best breakfast you could wish for. Rooms are spotless and exceptionally comfortable. Staff friendly and very helpful with any questions. Would give 11 out of 10 if possible. Highly recommended.
