Everything about this family run hotel was perfect and absolutely exceeded my expectations! The check-in process was extremely convenient, especially considering I had a rental car. We drove directly to the hotel and they guided us to a dedicated parking spot nearby, and the parking fee was so cheap! Location is perfect, situated right between old town + marina so you're a short walking distance to both areas to wander around. The breakfast was superb and the rooms are extremely spacious and modernized. What exceeded my expectations the most was the service, this family run hotel really felt like home. Sergio, Nella, and the mother are so welcoming and flexible. Need to leave the car longer during check-out day while we explore? No problem. Want to rent a bike but aren't sure how long to rent it for? Just drop off anytime and pay when you return. Hearing about the backstory of this hotel and how the grandfather first opened it as a restaurant, etc also added so much more charm to this stay. I would love to not only visit Rovinj again in the future, but also stay at this hotel and see the family again. Such a wonderful town, hotel, and family!

After three weeks traveling the Balkans, Hotel Squero is truly our favourite place. This is a new hotel run by a knowledgable family that has lived in Rovinj for many years. The rooms are beautiful and of a good size. The workmanship and quality of materials in this solid concrete constructed hotel is first class. It is extremely well located whether you travel by bus or car. Situated on the waterfront can it get any better? Yes the breakfast is the absolute best we have had. Overall, a well designed and constructed hotel in a superb location run by a lively family serving a delicious breakfast with an array of choices. We say, it can’t get any better.

Absolutely nothing.

Decent choice for breakfast. Good food and pleasant staff. Location is great being around half way between beaches and old town. A simple short walk of around 10 mins. While parking wasn't on site there was always a hotel car to take you to and from the car park. Staff were always happy to take you the short, approx 3 minute, drive.

Lol not much. More hangers in the wardrobe. It was somewhat frustrating when sensor controlled light by ghe bathroom kept switching off.

This is a stylish modern hotel overlooking the harbour and about ten minutes walk from the old town of Rovinji. Our room was immaculately clean, and had up to date fittings and a large comfortable bed. The room was a good size and looked out over the garden - the rooms at the front have excellent sea views. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was excellent. This is one of the best small hotels we have visited in many years of travelling. We would definitely stay there again.

Nothing really to complain about. The hotel was unable to arrange an airport pick-up, which was disappointing. However, taxis are readily available at Pula. Apart from breakfast, there was no restaurant service and very little food available in the bar. Again, not really an issue because there are two restaurants next door to the hotel.

We loved loved our stay. This is the best hotel and we fell in love with the hotel, staff and breakfast. We loved the coffee machine in the room. It is has a beautiful view. The parking is so close by and around the corner from the hotel. Lovely restaurants all around the hotel. The Tommy convenient store is next to the property. The staff could not do more for us. We would not hesitate to return and was the highlight of our hotels so far in Europe.

You name it. Everything was just great. The ROOM was superb, with a balcony facing the Adriatic Sea! The view from the balcony was just great!. The Breakfast was terrific! The location was fantastic! Most of all, the hotel staff were absolutely cool! I would recommend this hotel to everyone! Furtermore, having the Tommy Supermarket right next door is another plus. I loved being able to explore the surroundings without having to travel far. After a day of adventure, it was such a delight to return to this peaceful oasis. The breakfast was another highlight of my stay! Each morning started off deliciously with a fantastic spread of fresh, homemade options that catered to all tastes. It was the perfect fuel for my day of exploring. Overall, I cannot recommend hotel highly enough! Whether you’re looking for a romantic getaway, a family vacation, or simply a place to unwind, this hotel is a perfect choice. I can’t wait to return!

Most important - super friendly and helpful team. First time in Rovinj, we feel like at home, being meet and greet in Hotel Squero. Great location - walking distance to the beach and to the old town. Renovated rooms with everything needed for comfortable stay. Breakfast on the patio with nice view and big variety of food. Thanks Squero Team for your hospitality and see you next summer!

Our room was really modern and large -felt like an apartment room. Breakfast was great with lovely viewing of harbour. Staff were amazing and super friendly. Helped us with parking and gave us packed lunch when we were checking out early and missed breakfast! Could not recommend hotel more!

Only 2 minor issues - our room had a slight smell which should be sorted out asap, and the mini fridge was really loud some nights. Didn’t ruin our stay though and would still recommend!

The hotel was newly renovated, so everything was brand new and sparkling clean. Breakfast left no wish open, was always varied and there was the option of freshly cooked eggs etc. The hotel is right down on the sea front and enjoys perfect views of Rovinj. The walk into town takes about ten minutes, if that. Because of the position of the hotel, it wasn't possible to park directly there. There was a hotel car park about 500 metres away which is easily accessible.
