Great location, and modern, well-designed room. Excellent products in the bathroom (Cowshed) and very comfortable bed. The team at the front desk and bar were incredibly nice too. Loved the ability to rent bikes, borrow beach towels, and like many reviewers said, the parking and golf buggy service was exceptional!

It was super hot when we were in Rovinj. The air conditioning was good, but could have been a touch stronger.

Our room was decent sized, the bathroom was great and it had a nice contemporary feel. It also felt very safe and secure. We appreciated the reserved parking option and shuttle service and luggage handling to/from the parking lot to the hotel. The hotel is very well situated in the old town of Rovinj and easily accessible to many great restaurants and wondering around.

The room we stayed in, seemed to be in an "overflow" part of the hotel, down a side alley. We did not feel like we were apart of the actual hotel (good and bad.) The room was not very sound proof at all, so we hear neighbors all night long. The parking lot they use is a bit tricky to find at first, but luckily just walking around from where we thought it was, we weer able to locate the right lot.

There was everything to like about the Melegran in terms of service. The staff were exceptional- always cheerful and very helpful. The first person we met was Melanie who set the tone for a lovely experience. The location could not be better - in the heart of Old Town and on the way to the church. You could tell that the property had been upgraded. The quality of the linens and towels also amazing including bath sheets and facecloths. They have a very cute little bar and you could have a drink outside as well and watch the world go by. Also a good buffet breakfast at a nearby restaurant where you could sit inside or outside.

It wasn’t that we didn’t like it but you need to be aware that there are no elevators in any of the hotels. Timmy took our luggage up the stairs to our rooms so that was not a problem. The hotel has reserved parking outside the Old Town. The information they send in advance about finding the parking area was very detailed and the GPS got us there. Once there, we weren’t sure where to park but found out that they have reserved spaces with the hotel name on the spots. They pick you up in a shuttle once you notify them that you have arrived. If you don’t have international calling, I would suggest you set the hotel up on WhatsApp so you can message them when you arrive.

The Melegran exceeded our expectations. This gorgeous boutique hotel is located within one of the narrow alleyways in the old town. We loved how near to everything we were, nothing felt far away. The breakfast is served within a nearby restaurant which is only a short walk away, this didn’t bother us at all. We loved the quaint hotel bar and friendly staff who could not do enough for us, always ensuring we had everything we needed.

My only slight improvement would be to have more storage in the room. It felt like there wasn’t a lot of space to hang our clothes however for those doing shorter stays this wouldn’t be a problem.

A cute city hotel, the breakfast was delicious and is located one alley away. Although the hotel is very close to the harbor, it is still far enough away for it to be fairly quiet at night. The rooms are individually decorated but still have a mini bar and good wifi. The room service works, as does the shuttle service to and from the parking lot, which is just outside the city. Only the windows in the room were very thin and noisy, and a lot of water ran out of the shower into the bathroom. Overall a very pleasant experience and highly recommended. Fabulous boutique hotel, right in the heart of the old town. So close to many bars and restaurants. Wonderful 2 bed suite on the top floor with a fantastic terrace. Cowshed toiletries very luxurious. Great fluffy bath towels. Loved the D and G kettle and toaster! Parking outside the old town, but the hotel sends out a buggy to collect and drop off.

Google maps sends you to the parking exit, rather than entrance. The staff worked it out though!

We were impressed by the greeting, the helpfulness, the lift to the bus-stop, the location of the hotel... there was a lot to enjoy. Also, to an eccentric who treasures unexpected capital 'B's, the toilet-roll holder was a delight.

We stayed in a lot of hotels in the past 10 days, and if I'm confusing you in my comments with another I apologise. But I think it was the Melegran where the size of the pillows was baffling - one vast, one very small for each of us. The minimalist TV remote needed a YouTube video to work out. The lighting and lighting controls were fussy and barely adequate.

Great location right in the old town. Paid parking is not on site but offers a free ride. The room was nicely furnished and had everything expected of the highly-rated hotel.

It's important to note that this hotel does not have a lobby or a lounge as such. Breakfast is served at a separate location down the road. On the days it is cold or raining - this is a problem. Additionally, there are a lot of stairs and no lift, so this hotel is not for someone with reduced mobility or fitness.

the location was fantastic, in a quiet corner of the old town. the rooms were super clean, new and quirky. having breakfast in the square outside was romantic accompanied by a home made breakfast accoutrements. even for vegans which can be a challenge in Italy.

the room was quite small but lots of hanging space the beach bag and hats provided made up for it.

Lovely boutique hotel in a central but quiet location. Rooms are individually designed so you feel like in a family run place. Unfortunately the rooms are a bit small but that seems to be normal, because of the small fisherman’s houses in those narrow streets of the historic old town. Car parking is outside the old town, but the hotel offers it’s own parking places and a complimentary shuttle service from/to hotel with a golf caddy. Service is very careful, especially thanks to Ana, who was a very helpful and lovely person. I highly recommend this place.
