The entire hotel was clean and even though there were several functions, including a wedding, it was whisper quiet at night! Very comfortable stay, amd the Waterpark is amazing for kids and adults.

All the toiletries from the hand soap to the shampoo and lotion were "manly" smelling, which was great for my husband, but I didn't want to smell like "warm oak", so I had to go buy some things since I didn't bring any of my own.

The hotel is located in an excellent location with parks and the river walking trail just across the street. There are also plenty of restaurants in the area and the midtown mall is about a 10 minute walk. The staff were good and the restaurant on-site for breakfast was good. The room was small but comfortable, and it was clean with very good climate control settings. Parking was spacious and offers both outdoor and underground parking options.

Hotel is showing its age inside and out; carpets and walls are old and dirty and the exterior is weathered heavily.

The staff were great, very helpful. The Scarlet restaurant had a tasty breakfast and the pool was super too. The beds were super comfy!

Although it was a "non-smoking room," it obviously used to be a smoking room. It still smelled strongly of cigarettes and we all found it pretty nasty in our room. You kind of got used to it, but every time you entered it hit you. (I also missed the old waterslides from when I was a kid. This one is good, but not as good as it used to be.)

The waterslide, the swimming pools, and the hot tubs were really nice

They did not offer any breakfast included in the stay, despite the fact that providing a little breakfast will not cure that much of cost to the hotel !! The size of the rooms, including two queen bedrooms, very smaller comparable to other reputable brands

Family enjoyed the water slide. Pool area has a great set up and of course everyone loves the Free Wifi. Staff was friendly and helpful and the beds were comfortable. Once again we enjoyed our stay, haven’t tried the breakfast as of yet!

Parking for larger trucks is in the back and only one entrance at the front of hotel to gain access. Waiting for the one elevator (side elevator) to go to room is inconvenient, as it is also the only one used to gain access to the parkade also. Swiping card each time to use the elevator. Front outside door to Main Lobby ~ only one door opened manually.

Very nice, clean hotel. Large shower and showerhead, comfortable bed, ice on every floor, friendly, courteous staff and a great restaurant on the property (Scarlet). Glass drinking glasses, great iron, great toiletries (no small bottles). Great outdoor seating and food at Scarlet! Nice view of the park.

No smart tv so basic cable only with no options. Room not upgraded with usb ports...only 1 was in clock radio. Very small fridge and no microwave. Elevators are old and quite slow to arrive. Powdered creamer for coffee. Rooms not soundproof; heard neighbor in bathroom or coughing. Lots homeless in area, few loiter in park across from hotel or even in front.

Excellent service. The hotel and restaurant staff were exceedingly kind and polite.

I forgot about the water park when I booked this room. This is nice, quiet hotel during the week, but Friday afternoons it starts to get crazy, and as the families with small children start to arrive, the noise level goes up considerably. Lots of kids running and yelling in the halls.

Comfortable, location, a great place to bring my niece after the holidays for the pool and waterslide.

We went out for a smoke after 9pm and we were sworn at and I’m thinking it was a street person but he was really aggressive and wanted to fight my husband. The guard at the front should be at the door, not seated at the elevator.

Great hotel, staff was very responsive, clean room, mini fridge with coffee in room, hair dryer, ironing board, coffee shop and restaurant downstairs, we had a view of the park which was nice. Location was great, can walk the river walk, or walk to downtown and mall. Will stay there again in a heartbeat. Lots of cabs and Ubers around.

Front of hotel very difficult to find in the dark when relying on Google maps(took me to front of James hotel) and I spend a while driving in circles also because the check in area our front is incredibly small and I didn't know exactly where the guest parking was to just go there instead. It would also be great if there were access from the back of the building so we don't have to carry our luggage all the way around.
