Friendly hospitable reception. Our room was beautifully decorated & had everything we needed including a kettle, tea & coffee! Additionally guests can use the breakfast room area with great views over the river at any time to make a cup of tea, coffee or hot chocolate. The outdoor deck adjacent to the breakfast room was a lovely place to relax in the afternoon. The rooms are motel-style with an external passage running along the front of the rooms. Great breakfast including a variety of breads, cakes, yoghurt, cereals, meats, cheese & a bowl of fruit. On-site parking. Pool (we didn't get to use). I'd stay again.

The location is excellent if you have a car. As we were on foot doing the Camino Nascente, the supermarket & cafes/restaurants were a good walk away up the hill or downhill towards the river. Not necessarily a problem depending on your fitness level.

A beautiful little place in a beautiful location. A lovely room with a view of the mountain and the river from our balcony . Good restaurant a five minute walk from here overlooking the river. A meal for 2 with drinks cost just under €40 The staff were very nice and eager to accommodate our needs as we have a large motor home . Parking could have been difficult. Our balcony overlooked a small pool which was very pleasant to swim in albeit cold as the weather wasn't great. I would recommend this place and no doubt will have a return visit .

The only down side was a long wait in reception until I figured out to ring the number on booking .com for the hotel . Once I'd done this someone came quickly . Also there are few English speakers here so google translate was very useful , but obviously that is not a problem for the hotel but it will ensure I learn to speak more Portuguese 😀....

Excellent location. The staff (we only saw one lady) were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was excellent but it showed some signs of lack of love and care (wallpaper, floor, one socket detached from the wall). Very good breakfast, with just the basics, which, for us are more than enough. Some small bread rolls with olive or chorizo inside: these were delicious. A small, but really nice pool, to cool down from the nearly 40 degrees outside. We would stay there again!

Basic hotel on a busy road. We had a suite which was very spacious & well appointed. The breakfast buffet was OK, usual ham, cheese & bread. The swimming pool is a good amenity but not very deep. The hotel is handy for access to the beautiful Tagus river with boat trips available.

There is no restaurant at the hotel - the restaurant with the same name is a walk away on the riverfront. There is a factory in town that pulps eucalyptus trees, there is a constant rumble of lorries through the town bringing in wood and the smell of the factory, at times, can be overwhelming.

The location was a pleasant surprise. It is near the river and has quick access to boat trips and wonderful sightseeing. The staff was very kind and helpful. The breakfast was okay with options for multiple tastes.

We didn't stay long, but if I had to point out something that could've been better, I'd say the parking places. It's a small property with only a few parking places, but you can always try to park nearby.

The location, the staff, breakfast, the beds, the room the pool and the Jacuzzi. Almost everything was good!

If i have to write something, the windows and the mirrors in the bathrooms where not clean, i can be the calcium from the water.

I enjoyed everything about this hotel and its location. All the staff were very welcoming when I arrived and remained that way throughout my stay. They made a special card for me to celebrate Father's day in the UK which I was so pleased and grateful. Many thanks for everything.

The view, the swimming pool, the bedroom, the staff was pleasant and helpful, the breakfast roo.m view was nice

The breakfast was OK, but it could have fruits and eggs.. The shower i Room in the suite was a bit slippery. But overall, very nice stay

The room was lovely with a nice walk in shower all on one level suitable for a disabled traveller. Ample room for a wheelchair.

We could not open a window to sleep and the air conditioning is not good for sleeping.
