Very comfortable stay and welcoming, helpful staff. Very elaborate breakfast and the hotel has an in house restaurant restaurant with different daily specials. We intended to stay there 2 nights, but because my wife caught a bug, had to extend our stay. The receptionist was super helpful in helping us secure extra nights and the breakfast staff brought me a tray so that I could bring breakfast to my wife. That's all truly appreciated. Location was central. We came by bus and its a 15 minutes or so walk from the station to the hotel. Castelo Branco has many interesting places to visit and it's walkable or a short uber ride from this hotel. Also, a few good restaurants are within walking distance too. There is a supermarket, a pastry shop within 5 mins walk away.

Nothing really. Maybe, the upper end of the street where the hotel is located is under road works. You can walk though the unfinished area, or take a short detour via the sdjacent street; just don't wear your fancy shoes if you decide on the former.

Breakfast was excellent. The service staff is attentive, courteous and friendly. The hotel had a restaurant, which saved me from taking care of the problem of lunch and dinner. Most importantly, everything was amazingly delicious. They have an amazing chef and wait staff. The restaurant had pleasant music and a beautiful interior.

On the first day, no one answered my messages, I was late getting to the hotel, due to a bus problem, and no one contacted me. I arrived tired and found the room dusty. I spent the whole night cleaning the hotel room because I'm allergic and couldn't sleep in the dust. There was also a safe in the room, but it didn't have a lock. All days I had documents in my bag, which was a big inconvenience for me.

This stay was perfect for us, very close to where we had to be the next day. The room was exactly as promised with a good quality bed. We had a meal in the restaurant and that was excellent. The breakfast was also very good, lots of choice, quiet. The parking: we were lucky that there were several places free, with my large car. It was good and safe.

My husband says that in the men's toilet the sensor worked too fast, and so the light went off too quickly. That was a nuisance to him. I'm washing an extra pair of trousers now.

Well appointed room with balcony. Clean and tidy with plenty of space. Hotel bar was a nice snug room, and the dinner in the restaurant was very good. Breakfast was also good, except the breakfast coffee. Friendly staff. Secure parking for motorcyles.

The room was very comfortable and so were the common spaces in the hotel. Bathroom was also very nice and everything was clean. Breakfast was good and the hotel is very well positioned in town center

I don't think I have anything to complain

We were kindly received and allowed with no fuss to check in early. It was local to where we needed to be and do perfect for us. We liked the balcony that you could see the sunset from. The 24 hr reception was very helpful if we needed anything. The tour operator picked us up at the hotel so that was wonderful and there was a shop for groceries really close by. Easy to walk from.

The situation of the hostel is perfect..very near to the city center...the rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and tasty...but no olives , no legumes (tomatoes, cucumber...etc). The staff was wonderful (Smiley and helpful)🌹 I liked my stay here ❤️
