It's our second time here as a family of 4. We've stayed in the villas and everything was spot on as usual. The facilities are simple yet thoughtful and filled all our needs. What really stands out, and quite honestly was also what made us come back again, is the outstanding service by the staff. They made you feel welcomed and at home since check in through check out. A very special thank you to Cátia, Bia and D.Olinda - you all went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home. Thank you so so much.

Amazing property, amazing rooms, great swimming pool and jacuzzi pool, delicious and nutritious breakfast, plus the nice and courteous staff... all this plus the competitive prices add up to more reasons to come back!

The only thing I really really disliked is a frog figure at the entrance of the reception. This is a sign that the owners/managers don't want Roma people to be guests - many hold superstitious beliefs against frogs. This is quite unacceptable and I'm putting this comment here only because I couldn't find someone to voice my concerns to when I checked out

We stayed at the Villa and loved it. As a couple with 2 small children it completely filled our needs as it looks like a studio with all you need. The private pool for the Villas was excellent and the surrounding areas were just as great with plenty room to walk and sunbathe - a true relaxing experience. The staff were amazing and always went above and beyond to meet our needs.

Even though I liked pretty much everything the only thing that prevent us to give 10 score was the lack of a restaurant in the property. This force you to go outside to eat every single day for lunch and dinner and the local options aren't that many. We ended up buying food at a local supermarket chain that last us for a couple of days so we could enjoy the accommodation a bit more. The breakfast is very very basic but they do scrambled eggs if you ask them to. The coffee and jams were very good.

The breakfast was absolutely tasty and wonderful. The woman who attended us and offered us eggs and espresso was very, very nice and professional. The breakfast dining area was very cool with all the stone work. We loved it. The pool was clean. A bit chilly but I took a dip anyway.

The lights in our bathroom of our room flickered. That is something to get repaired. Also the extraction fan in the lobby area of the men’s bathroom was very noisy. It needs to be looked at and corrected as well. I mention these things as areas of improvement. To take the hotel expedience to the next level as it is already very nice hotel. Also I would suggest offering some food for purchase. There are no local stores. So to eat you need to go to the next town.

The staff were AMAZING! I’ve never seen such thoughtful and helpful beings 🫶🏻not even in 5🌟hotels They looked after all my family ( all 12 ) as if we were family 😍 They deserve 6 stars 🌟 It was exceptionally clean EVERYWHERE ❤️ I highly recommend this hotel

Only because I need to Write something It’ll be cool to Put a notice on how to Regulate the temperature with AC. I know if we asked she would come and do it , but it’s so we won’t bother them. They’ve been incredibly helpful

Excellent place for families, located in a small village, really close to Fundão, it's the perfect spot for families that want to visit the region. We stayed on a Village 2 adults and 2 kids and we found lovely the comfort of the room. The price range was incredible nice for what you had. We had a nice reception with a nice method of choosing the breakfast (via small survey on the web). As a plus we were able to charge the car during the night which was one of the big reasons for us to stay here. Close to Serra da Estrela. Found the staff really nice and welcome, we booked here a weekend before, but since one of kids got sick we can't go, the staff canceled the reservation without any problems free of charge although it was one day before the check-in. Thank you Marilia for your understanding! Fully recommend great value for money.

Pretty much everything was great, nothing I can point out.

The breakfast was amazing, I stayed in a villa so the breakfast was brought to us. And had everything with high quality. The villa was really clean and new, we had a view for the garden and swimming pool that was also amazing. The property has 2 swimming pools, one for the main hotel and other for the villas but both can be used. Also had an amazing Jacuzzi, towels were provided for swimming pool and for baths. Everything was extremely clean and well kept. I took my dog and he had loads places to run and everyone was extremely helpful. the staff of the property work really hard to keep everything well clean and all the services supplied. Well done everyone.

Very clean and staff was 5-star. It is a modern hotel within a century building... It creates the comfort of modern facilities with the rustic art of old buildings. It has swimming pool. Hotel is outside Fundão in a very calm environment. Perfect to relax. Breakfast is also amazing.

The design of history combines with the modern architecture. Excellent breakfast.

Don’t like the idea of the room can see the other in the toilet which is no privacy. Also the giant mirror in the bathroom was not nice to see yourself sit in the toilet.

Good Breakfast and very calm and nice location very close to Fundão for relax visiting. Staff very polite and accommodating to special requests!

TV small! For us no big deal but for people that like watching TV they will be unhappy. Easy to solve as the price of TVs have dropped a lot.
