I am giving 10 because for what it was and the price you can't expect better. The hotel was very simple, you can't expect much from it, but from the price was perfect. It had everything, even if not big they had it. For example, room was small but comfortable. Breakfast didn't had much variety but more than enough (at least for me), mine fridge with drinks in case you want. Bathroom small but with everything needed and clean. The best part was the balcony view we got and the balcony was almost the same size has the room! Is not a room for you to stay a long time, just for you to come back after a long day and relax lay down. We didn't need but for 5 euros we could let the car in the parking next to it, you need to ask in the reception before for that and give the license plate number.

Nice hotel in the centre of the town. Friendly staff. Spotless rooms and nice view of one of the town squares from the window. A typical Portuguese hotel, which have none of the bland moderness of UK or Irish hotels; they have character in the buildings and decor, which is a welcome change. Substantial breakfast included, if that's your thing.

The entire staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Our room was much larger than expected, extremely clean and comfortable, and well appointed. The restaurant was wonderful and the chef's suggestions and hotel specialties were all delicious.

It was all great. Anything negative would be nit picky and is not worth mentioning.

It was a charming Hotel, kind of a throwback to earlier times but our room sparkled. The window was smallish given historic nature of the hotel, but looked out on a church bell tower and plaza. There are two great bars in town, the Nosso Bar (gay and lively pre-Halloween) and the very typical neighborhood place Jo Anna, both a 10 min walk through quiet streets.

Helpful reception staff and they were happy to help, not just doing their job. I like the variety of shops and eateries in the immediate vicinity. Bus stop directly across the road, if needed to get to other areas of the city.

On our previous visit (2 months earlier) breakfast had much more variety. Although breakfast was open for more than another hour, the hot food had only one 'past its best' portion left and there was two of us. Despite visiting the hot food more than 4 times, making it clear we were not going to eat what was there, there was no replenishment..... I'm sure if we asked we would have been accommodated, but we didn't like to ask. At least 7 others came into breakfast after us... none of them took the hot food either. Saying this, what we did eat was perfectly decent, but I had hot milk with my cereal as there was no cold milk to be seen (again, I probably could have got some if I asked).

I really liked the big bedroom, and the big bed. The bed linens were excellent. Location was excellent, with really good windows and drapes to keep the noise out. There was free parking across the street. The breakfast included in the price was downstairs at the restaurant and was excellent. I highly recommend for a few nights stay.

The front desk could have been friendlier.

Location is great, room is very comfortable and no noise can be heard from the streets. Staff was very friendly.

The general amenities are a bit old might need a freshen up. Same for the restaurant and breakfast place and food, I found a lot of cakes and not much healthy options.

Size and cleanliness of the room. First class location with easy and economic parking. Friendliness of the staff.

Somewhat dated facilities.

The staff is friendly and speaks english. Booking and checking in and out process was smooth and fast. Clean room and facilities, comfortable bed.

Hotel is in middle of the centre, personnel is very friedle and helpful. Parking place opposite of the hotel and hotel has a good restaurant.
