We stayed at this hotel as part of a motorcycle trip on the Portugal ACT. It was very convenient for this. The staff were super helpful on arrival, great secure parking, the lift for heavy bags/biking clobber was great and the rooms were vast! It is the biggest hotel room I think I've stayed in. Very lux. Lots of hot water in the shower, a nice bar area and the restaurant food was delicious. As vegetarians, they went out of their way to provide us with two different delicious meals. The breakfast the following morning was excellent. All in all this hotel is superb and very good value for money.

Nothing. There was a pool but we didn't feel the need to try it and outdoor play facilities and bbq's for families.

We loved this hotel and feel it will be very difficult to beat in terms of value for money. The rooms are huge, more like a suite with a lounge area and large balcony. The location is quiet and quite beautiful. The rooms are very, very quiet with no noise at all coming from other rooms. The bed was massive and comfortable, our room had a bath and there was air con. The on-site restaurant and bar were excellent too as were the staff. This was our second visit and it’s beginning to feel like a home from home, the staff are so, so friendly. A real plus for this hotel however is the hot-tub, small steam room and sauna which you book privately for an hour. There was even bathrobes and slippers in our room to use. There is an outdoor pool and jacuzzi which is due to open later on in the season.

Difficult to think of anything really but maybe the restaurant menu could offer more vegetarian choices at reasonable prices? Ofcourse you do not need to eat in the hotel itself as there are restaurants in Oleiros but this maybe difficult on a Sunday evening for example.

We have stayed here twice now and would not hesitate to book again. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and the hotel is very clean and well appointed, with spacious rooms. Our restaurant meal was tasty and cooked to perfection. The location is good and there is a lovely boardwalk alongside the river. We enjoyed the Turkish bath/steam room and sauna too. All in all a fabulous hotel - well worth a visit.

Great, calm and silent location, beautifully designed, friendly and helpful staff, full of comodities, comfy and spacious bed, room and bathroom, excellent buffet breakfast, pristine cleaning and top quality furniture and decoration. I can't find any relevant drawback.

The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful from the moment we checked in to when we checked out. The room was very spacious with two comfortable chairs. And we had an excellent meal in the hotel restaurant (even if the service was on the slow side). We would also recommend two other restaurants in Oleiros, namely Linguas do Perguntador and Alta da Vila

As others have said a kettle with tea and coffee would have been welcome

Incredible room - so large with a gorgeous stove, two balconys and wonderful views of the river. The hotel is calm and spacious with woodburning stoves in communal areas and great views. We had a fantastic lunch and a wonderful time on every level. The cabrito estonado on Sunday is a must if you are in the area. The staff were very kind and thoughtful too.

breakfast was wonderful. much more than I expected. there were scrambled eggs, bacon, lots of pastries and sweets. the coffee was fresh form a machine- self serve. fresh fruit, cereal all there.

everything was good. there was ample parking, the front desk was helpful. the climate control in the room worked great and there were many room options: curtains, blinds, and a balcony to use.

A nice bed in a big room with a very nice bathroom. The whole place was of a very high quality. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and it was good and the breakfast provided was excellent with fresh local produce items making it special. The lady that checked us in was very helpful and we had no problems during our stay. We just wish we had packed our swimming costumes...

Disliked · Nothing really - maybe could have enjoyed some tea and coffee making facilities in the room but I'm just being picky...

Everything from check in to check out was first class. Lovely room. Members of staff were excellent. Dinner and breakfast was really good.
