Excellent, well maintained hotel, perfectly positioned opposite the magical village of Piódão. Professional, courteous staff who went the extra mile to fulfil our varying dietary needs. The pool was clean and a great size and temperature for swimming laps. A huge thank you to Alexandra Vieira on reception who kindly arranged our onward transport as we did not have a car and it is impossible to use Bolt/Uber in this area as we discovered!

Staff friendly and helpful. We had a stressful driving day, so we were relieved to arrive. Our large room had a beautiful view over the village and we left the windows open all night. Very comfortable. We stayed in for buffet dinner and much needed wine. We had a relaxing evening and a good sleep, and buffet breakfast.

This hotel has a big swimming pool. It is placed in a beautiful location. Above the village of Piodao. The staff are very friendly and always ask if you need anything. Very comfortable seating. Alot of choice for breakfast and the dinner buffet has also got good choice in food.

I can't think of anything I didn't like. I wished that I had stayed longer in this beautiful location.

breakfast was nice, many choices the place is exeptional the small village Piodao is something really worth seeing The hotel is beutiful, little retro - style (the bathroom and the pool) but comfortable, very nice design the prices very reasonable for family the staff very helpful we can recommend it it was great stay I think it's the best option to stay in Piodao

so glad we decided to stay in this hotel! the staff were all so kind and welcoming. we were visiting during the quiet season i think, because there were hardly any other tourists at our hotel, which i personally enjoyed! the room was large with amazing views of the city. check in process was easy, breakfast was good, and the location overlooks the town on the top of the hill and is a 1-2 minute drive down the hill, so very convenient!

Our room whilst having great views felt a little dated. There was a large bus party in who were at the buffet dinner and breakfast at the same time as us - we should have gone down earlier as the food just disappeared!

Location with stunning views on the village and its surroundings. Spacious room. Very friendly and helpful staff. Swimming pool is a plus. Breakfast was plentiful.

We had read some comments about the food and we agree that it's a pitty that food at the dinner buffet gets cold quickly.

Location. Extremely helpful staff both in providing information about the area and in quickly resolving a maintenance issue about our room (shower initially did not work).

Evening meal was uninspired and limited in choice (two options.)

We felt like we were in a castle, on top of the hill, with a beautiful view of the village. I loved the walk down the trail to the village. It was raining, but it ended up giving it a special touch, a magical atmosphere. There was a live music performance after dinner, the performers were excellent and it was so much fun to share the night with guests. Great breakfast. Our bedroom and bathroom were spacious and comfortable.

The buffet dinner had several options, but the food was a little cold and not very tasty.

Good hotel. Needs to be updated, but rooms are big and clean. Breakfast was good and the location is excellent. Good view of Piódão from the room window.
