Lovely comfortable hotel in a quiet Portuguese town and in walkable distance to almost everywhere in town, with a swimming pool, AC (mandatory during the Summer), and a good restaurant with a few vegan options for lunch/dinner and a friendly staff

- Very few vegan options during breakfast other than bread, jam, and fruit. Soy/oat milk and plant-based yogurts would be nice to have - The gate and the door close during the night, so make sure you get a phone number to have someone to call

The staff helped me with breakfast. I am vegetarian and they provided me with good options. I wrote to them in advance, of course. I appreciated it a lot. The hotel itself is beautiful, very quiet, at least it was when I was there. The room I was in was large but each room varies a little. The rooms have a fridge, which is great so you can purchase whatever you want from the nearby large supermarket (just steps away) and keep it in the fridge. I loved the balcony. The restaurants is beautiful and what I ordered was tasty (and the portion was good). The pool is huge and perfectly clean. Fabulous place.

The only thing is a little bit of mold (very little) on the bathroom tiles. I have found this problem in a few Portuguese hotels. They don't know that a simple product costing only 1 Euro resolves that problem if applied frequently. But the place is very clean and as I said it was only a very minor issue. I would stay there any time.

The quietness around the hotel and the pool, not kids were staying there at that time :-) I like kids but i also like to hear my toughts and that was possible that day. The restaurant is great, starting by the lady receiving you.

I wanted to get someting from my car later night at 2:00Am and the doors were bloked with none at reception!!!! makes you feel a bit concern... I guess the doors are glass so you can always boke it on an emergency, but not good, at least make the doors open from inside

The bed was amazing, the view from the balcony was nice and decor is amazing. The room was clean

Breakfast was a bit lacking, it was ok but could have been superior. The bathrooms should have more personal hygiene items. Soap isn't enough.

Very comfortable overnight stop with dinner. English spoken at reception and dinner. Good service, comfortable clean warm (in November) room. The hotel is beautifully decorated. Dinner in the restaurant was a quite good. I was surprised the restaurant was open mid-week as there were very few guests the night I stayed (2 rooms?).

View from my room was ugly but it was only 1 night.

the 22:00 close of check in. For travellers, it may pose difficulties and pressure.
