This is a very smart hotel with excellent restaurant and amenities occupying an elevated location with wonderful views. The hotel staff are very helpful especially for a non Portuguese speaking tourist. The bar and terrace provide a great location to watch the sun go down. There is ample parking and I left my motorcycle there for 10 days whilst I went off cycling. The rooms provide plenty of space to sleep and chill out each with a private balcony and chairs. The bathrooms are equipped with powerful showers which provide welcome refreshment after a day out in the sun. I just loved it!

I can't think of anything that I didn't like.

Very nice location overlooking the city -- close to sights and great dinning. The staff were friendly and helpful (I had accidently booked the wrong room and they took care of it without a problem). The breakfast buffet food was really good -- lots of variety. There was plenty of on-site parking. The room, beds and bedding were nice. The pools were nice too!

I think this nice modern hotel caters to bus tour groups -- so the buffet breakfast can be loud and busy, depending on your timing. The hotel also seems a little understaffed. We got drink coupons upon check-in, but waited (that night) for fifteen minutes for someone to appear to provide the drinks -- and when they didn't decided we didn't really need the drinks anyway.

Everything was great. Good comfortable rooms. Excellent facilities with a large swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, turkish bath, tennis court, squash court and more. Breakfast was very complete and of great quality (the fried eggs and bacon were just perfect). Location is just outside the castle and therefore slightly outside town but that means it has a very open view which we really liked and anyway everything is very close in Castelo Branco.

Jacuzzi was a bit cold in the early morning and Sauna would only open at 10am, which is not very practical because breakfast closes at 10:30. Other than that, all good.

I chose the hotel because of the location and the fact it has electric car chargers on the parking. To my pleasant surprise I was upgraded to a city view room. There was only one AC charger on the parking but luckily there was not much charging going on so I could use it. The room was quite normal with a nice view over the city had it not been as misty as it was that day. The indoor pool is very large and comfortable.

Unfortunately they require you to wear a swimming cap which can be bought at the reception for 3 Euros.

Everything from going in the front door on day one, to leave on the last day. AMAZING staff, BRILLIANT service with a SMILE. AMAZING views throughout, very clean and spacious. Great food selection for breakfast, with plenty for everyone to enjoy. Dinner is very nice, too! Nice selection championing the local produce, well done chef's 🙌👏👨‍🍳👩‍🍳 GREAT drink selection in the bar with SUPERB views looking out the window and a nice balcony to seat outside. BIG THANK YOU to all staff. You all are truly professionals from the front of the house to the back of the house. Chef's, THANK YOU for the scrumptious food. There is nothing to mention here.

The rooms are lovely, great size, good facilities and the gym is also excellent. The breakfast buffet is really nice and the selection is good. The staff are kind and attentive on the whole.

The plug sockets don’t reach the mirror so a bit annoying. This is our second stay at the hotel and this time we had to pay for additional coffee pods for the room. Seemed an unnecessary cost cut. Having to wear a swim cap in the pool means we didn’t use it. We also put for the sheets to be changed and, although the bed was made, the sheets were not changed.

The friendliness of the staff especially on the reception desk. The view from our spacious balcony was exceptional with good views of the sunset. The pool area was clean and user friendly with loungers provided. The half board option offers plenty of choice and the breakfast had many options as well. Plenty of free outdoor parking spaces a bonus. Whilst staying here do not miss a drive to Monsanto a spectacular site where House of the Dragon was filmed.

Nice hotel with friendly staff. The breakfast buffet was very good with an excellent variety of choices - we even overdid it a couple times on breakfast...! The view from the room and nearly everywhere else in the hotel was beautiful, looking out over the city and the surrounding countryside from nearly the highest point around. Plenty of parking and really not too far of a walk down into town - just across from the entrance to the castle, a street with stairs heads nearly directly down to the town center.

The pillows were very uncomfortable - too soft but lumpy at the same time. In four nights, we didn't have a single good night's sleep. Also, there were USB ports by the bed for phone charging, but none of them worked.

The room had a excellent view and a balcony, which I always like in a hotel room. Also the pool and surrounding area with sun loungers was spacious and tidy

My only complaint would be that there wasn't a plug for the bath and when i asked for one at reception was told they didn't have bath plugs! So only the shower (in the bath) could be used.

Great location on hill top with view towards the city. Good facilities with spa included in price. Excellent breakfast, great dinner buffet as well.

There was no option to add consumptions to your room account, all extra services had to be paid with card on site like bar, reastaurant, etc Towels for spa require a deposit at the reception.
