The hostel is nothing like a typical hostel. Instead it is a super well taken care of facility in an incredible location. It looks like it has been renewed recently and they did it right. The staff was extremely friendly and dedicated. These holidays were a very positive surprise! Despite the fact that they offer "pre-cooked" quality food for lunch and dinner (they don't hide it) they prepare it with a lot of care and the menu is quite diverse! It's great that they offer so many options, especially taking into account the "remote" location.

At the check-in the room assigned to us was not the correct one (superior double room on the first floor) but rather a smaller room on the ground floor. This was apparently a mistake from the person who assigned the rooms. However the mistake was corrected immediately and we were given the right room, which was correctly prepared for us. Additionally, I believe that the hostel would profit from a real kitchen in it's restaurant. Most of the people just want to stay the whole day at the hostel and enjoy the pool and relaxed environment. I believe that if there would be a real restaurant, people would use it all the time. It would be very convenient!

The location is absolutely stunning and the hotel is spotlessly clean. Although it has some older features, the hotel is decorated very nicely. The staff are very kind and helpful. Carolina is amazing! If you're looking for quiet and relaxation in a fabulously unspoilt part of Portugal, this is the place. You have the lake at your feet and a lovely deep and clean pool if you don't feel like leaving the hotel.

Although the hotel can provide lunch and dinner on request, the menu is limited and not homemade. This is such a shame as the terrace where meals are served offers a 180 view of the lake - with a few small changes on the menu and in the kitchen, it could be perfect.

The view is amazing, the staff is incredibly helpful and the facilities are very well kept. The staff was very attentive: they upgraded our room for free because there was a better one ready and available; my boyfriend spent his birthday there and they prepared little surprises for him; they prepared us lunch out of hours. There are also a lot of activities to do, such as kayak or biking.

View on the lake is amazing, undoubtedly. Balcony is super good. Eating breakfast with the look at the lake is very nice. Staff was very friendly and helpful at all times. Place is nice overall but needs more attention.

Parking space is dangerous, it should be made more safe. . Room was smaller than we expected. The shower could be cleaner! Black mould visible in places, like the window above bathtub. Pool could be cleaned daily, there was a dead lizard in the pool. Breakfast is just boring, nothing special, no choice. No hairdryer, no water kettle, no iron. Reception hours are limited, you need to show at the exact time you stated as no one is there.

It is an amazing place for a leisure stay. Nice view, calm, silent! Great facilities and the staff is extremely attentive and friendly. Breakfast is also very good

The breakfast was Good and included, there was fruit, bread, coffee or tea, yogurt and ham and cheese. The juice should be better, only 1 type and “watery” not very good.

In general all good, we had a great time. There could be Towels for the pool! 😏😉

the place was so lovely and we really like staying at Villa Nova Nautic and Nature. We were well looked after and feel really good. We will definitely come back and stay here again, really recommend it and thank you Carolina for all :)

The location is perfect as a nature getaway. Very close to the river. The staff is great and very kind. 100% recommend.

for dinner you have to drive 30 min to reach any decent restaurant, Saturday evening some drunk guests having a party and jumping into the pool at midnight
