This is very cozy and inviting small hotel. Loved how it was decorated. Made it feel homey. The breakfast was very good with plenty of variety. We also had one dinner in the restaurant and found the food very good. It is located in a very small community with nothing much around besides the manmade river beach. Their sister Aparthotel is close by and also has a very nice café/restaurant.The nearest town with restaurants etc. is around 5km away. The hotel itself though was very nice.

The staff although very pleasant and accommodating in the restaurant area, were not always very available. They spent a great deal of time in the kitchen. Perhaps because it was the end of the busy season and there weren't many of us in the restaurant at one time. Although this did not apply to us, many people have already commented, the pool is not small child friendly. It quickly goes into a deep end.

Medium size buffet breakfast. Bar and restaurant with decent quality. The interior of the hotel looked nice although a bit dated. Some indoor entertainment ping pong and snooker available. Good swimming pool. Decent sized room with a good view of the mountains and river. Friendly and helpful staff. Free parking. Free WiFi.

The outside of the hotel needs a little cleaning. Bar and restaurant prices are a bit high.

Very beautiful location with plenty to do around. Very cozy hotel. Needed extra bed for our 15 year old and it was for free in a seperate place by the entrance which gave as more space to move arround. Great game room(all for free at the basement- snooker, pimpong…) Very nice breakfast. The bar area is so nice with lots of sofas to read or to have a drink with beautiful view arround.

It needs a bit of renovations, the proper cleaning carpets for example. And the pool needs extra step… At the breakfast constantly needed to ask staff to add food to the bufê

Spectacular views. Pool was great.. rooms had beautiful views to wake up to. Great variety for breakfast.

Too many steps down to the pool and up again. There is a lift within the hotel but then you have over 30 steps to get to the level of the pool outside. Pool not child friendly if your child cannot swim.

Everything was amazing! The location is beyond spectacular! The pool was amazing, the food was excellent, and the staff went out of their way to make me vegan dinners. The suite with the balcony was fantastic and very good value for money. I only wish we had time to have stayed longer.

The rooms are a little old, but well maintained. Do notice that the drive to the nearest village is about 15 minutes, so you have to be prepared with food etc.

We didn´t saw any recycle bins in the room and in the most facilities like the pool. Since it´s an Eco Hotel the recycling system should not be an issue. The breakfast should have natural fruit juices instead of the usual concentrates.

Friendly and helpful staff, beautiful views, excellent parking space, very good breakfast with lots of choices (fruits, pancakes, cake, bacon, etc) and with a gorgeous view to the river and valleys, very clean room, extra and large pillows, good sized tv and well placed in front of the bed, bathroom was very clean with a good shower and an awesome floor, lots of space to put your stuff and hang your towels and with great privacy from the rest of the room, delightful gardens around the hotel, very enjoyable swimming pool with a great view and sun bathing chairs all around, great location close to Ferreira do Zêzere and Tomar...

Swimming pool gets deep fast which was fine for us but I imagine that for people with kids might not be so great...

Had a lovely stay at Lago Azul Eco Hotel. Pool was lovely, wonderful views of the river, staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. Room was a good size, clean and comfortable.

The view, the amazing and full breakfast, the many areas to sit and enjoy the place, the nature, the spacious rooms, the solar panels, the swimming pool... what a wonderful place which made me think i should have booked an entire week there !

To be honest this was paradise
