Our room as expected was small but was very comfortable and clean, with good wifi, aircon and shower, and everything we needed for a great short stay. The building is very modern with access codes working well for all doors and with elevators for all floors. Despite its central location very close to shops, cafes, restaurants and the attractive old town and parks of Castelo Branco, our room (facing the internal courtyard) was very quiet and peaceful, and free street parking was available less than 100 metres away. Castelo Branco is well worth a visit, and this good value accommodation was ideal for our stay.

Great location, excellent building (wooden stairs and floors are so nice!), silent elevator, contactless check-in and check-out, comfortable rooms, good view of one of the main city streets, functioning amenities including compact dishwasher (!), nice beds, good shampoo and shower gel with lavender aroma, modern sanitary equipment. The front door and lobby are greatly designed!

It’s nitpicking, but the upper shower head was stuck with calcium deposits and apparently was quite rarely cleaned. I fixed that :) Also the pillows could be more solid, but that’s for people with neck issues like me. There could be some kind of luggage drop off zone for those who arrive early, since first train from Lisbon arrives about 3.5h earlier than the expected check-in time (although maybe there is, I just was too shy to contact the host about that and there was no mention of that in the check-in instructions).

The location is fabulous. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Minipreço around the corner for groceries. Check-in is easy. And sometimes, beds in Portugal accommodations aren't comfortable but we found the beds to be great.

There's a washing machine but no place to hang clothes. Or maybe there is but we couldn't find it? We're not very smart so that may be it.

We were three adults sharing. I just had major surgery and was so grateful to have been allocated the "penthouse" which gave us space, convenience, and a washing machine. It was the only unit on the floor thus the quiet I needed to aid in my recovery. This was our second stay and I will use it again for sure. The location is amazing and you have all possible facilities within walking distance.

Honestly something out of the control of the establishment but there is a square across with an all-night bar the music and noise from 02h00 to 04h00 were a bit too much.

Great location across from a museum and convenient parking garage. Very walkable to some sights and restaurants nearby. The building was beautiful, and the room was arranged as a very good use of space. The room was clean and had a great view of the contemporary art museum. I couldn't believe all the storage space and there was an almost-full sized fridge. Great value for the money!

The Murphy bed was not the most comfortable, mainly due to the frame around the mattress, but for a short stay, it was fine.

The hotel excided our expectations! Easy to get with the codes for access. They just sent us two codes - from the front door and from our apartment. Right in the center of the city. Ultra modern, spotlessly clean, very comfortable. We had a big room with fully equipped kitchen and a bedroom. There are air conditioners, TVs, fridge, coffee maker, microwave, toaster, stove and even dish washer! Great bathroom, lots of extra towels. It's a great choice for stop when traveling around Portugal.

We liked absolutely everything!

Unbeatable location right in the middle of everything! You can see up to the castle, and are right on the main street with easy walking to the train or bus station, shops, and restaurants. The check in is a breeze, contact-free for check in and out with coded doors, and the manager is great. He is very responsive if you need anything and helps right away!

Everything was perfect... walking distance to all the attractions and 10min walk to the train station. The self check-in was great. Good communication from the host and he was very kind to let us check in earlier as our room was already clean. A supermarket about 20m down the street. We had a great stay... will recommend this property 100%!

Location is great, the building is nice, the room is spacious and with good views. We stayed on the top floor where the ceiling is at an angle so we had to mind our heads not to bump into it, but had good light coming into the room.

The curtains don't totally block the light in the morning, so we woke up with the sun light flooding the room. The shower heads could be replaced. Apart from these minor inconveniences, all good!

I emailed them to say that I would be arriving about 11pm. They sent me full instructions and codes to let myself in and find my room. I left early the next morning so I did not meet any staff in person so can't review them.

I did not know how to get the coffee machine to work. Instructions would have been useful.
