Nice room with comfortable beds. Although the windows overlooked the road, with the windows closed at night there was no noise. The room has a small refrigerator and a private bathroom. The hotel has a fully equipped kitchen with a dining area where you can cook or reheat your own meals. There is a capsule coffee machine in the kitchen, capsules can be bought there for 0.50€ (coins only). There is also a small outdoor seating area. The hotel does not have its own reception. The hotel staff were always in touch and answered all our questions. The door code given in advance worked without problems. The hotel is located not far from the city center and within walking distance of the bus and train station. There are many different cafes and a couple of supermarkets.

We had a one night stay here and were very impressed with what we found. The property was easy to find from the bus station ( we had arrived by coach) and the door code we had been given in advance worked. The hotel was spotlessly clean and our room was far bigger than we had anticipated as it had a separate lounge area. All the instructions for room entry, air con unit etc etc were very well written and easy to follow. Having the small fridge in the room was a bonus. The bathroom was a good size and the shower worked really well. We had a really good night's sleep on a very comfortable bed. There was very little noise from the street and it was hard to tell if there were other guests as it was so quiet actually in the hotel. There are no meals served here but there is a lovely, well equipped kitchen and dining space complete with tea and coffee where you can make your own meals etc. There is also a small outside seating area. The hotel is close to a couple of supermarkets, other shops, lots of cafes and there are restaurants near by both in the new and old town. The start of the old town was only about 10 mins walk away. Interesting to wander around. All in all this hotel far exceeded our expectations and if we were ever in the area again we would certainly stay here

This is just a minor niggle and easily rectified. One of the bath towels had a tear in it. It was still useable but maybe housekeeping needs to check things a little more closely. There was loud building work going on ( sounded like next door) but this stopped at 6pm and did not start until 9am the following day so did not really impact on us. ( I am guessing that maybe the hotel had asked for these times of work)

I wasn't expecting a guesthouse to be so good. The room and the facilities were very good. All is clean, the bed was very comfortable. To sit in the balcony was relaxing even it was surrounded with other buildings around. The shared kitchen was great even though I didn't cook in there. There is an espresso machine and capsules machine for 0.50€.

The room had a mold smell that I could feel at night because of my asthma. That's a big problem in the whole of Portugal usually. The place is supposed to have parking. It doesn't have. You have to find it on the streets. It was easy to find and not far to walk but if I was with a disabled person, it could have been a problem.

Amazing location, near an area with plentiful free parking. It has a communal kitchen that we didn't get to use, but it's an amazing addition. The cleaning was extremely well done, the amenities present are more than enough for a good stay, from all the places in Castelo Branco, it's probably one of the most modern ones. The beds are really comfortable, everything looks simple but modern, our room had two TVs! The shower is so spacious and comfortable to move around, has a little shelf for you to put your stuff. The little details, like leaving a bottle of water or extra towels are something that, as a guest, I appreciate a lot. In the future if I have to choose a place to stay in CB, it's going to be here for sure!

This is me being picky, but the exhaust fan in the bathroom is a bit noisy. And the lack of an elevator will create issues for some people if they're staying in the first floor (we didn't have any problems regarding that, just pointing out the cons). Wi-Fi could be better but it was manageable.

A wonderful renovation with old exposed brick and contemporary decor. So clean. I needed extra pillows for a bad back - delivered in 2 minutes max! Kitchen area perfect to make a snack or picnic or even a full meal if on a longer stay! Very close to many sights, free local parking, excellent value

The location is good, next to Castelo Branco city center. The whole building has been renovated with taste and first class materials, The premises are spotless clean. The room is large, as is the bathroom. The check in process is all done on-line with a building/room entry code being forwarded the night before the arrival date. Breakfast can be had at any of the very nearby pastelarias. A well equipped common (large) kitchen is available for all guests.

Would have loved to be able to meet the owner to give him compliments about the refurbishment of the building and the choice of materials.

Exceptionally clean. It didn't have breakfast, but we knew that in advance and brought food for the following morning's breakfast. The communal kitchen area was spotless and had all the equipment anyone would need to sort their own food. The shower was superb, hot and powerful, and it also had a small area to sit outside at the back, as we used it to share a bottle of wine. 😀 The location is also close to town and you can just park on the street behind the property for free and our car was fine.

The bed was comfortable, the room and bathroom were decorated with care. I liked it. Simpel but no IKEA look. Shower was perfect, high pressure! Very clean, big kitchen...

Would love to have breakfast possibility, especially if you arrive very late.

Great location right in the center. Very kind and honest owner making our stay a really comfortable one. Very clean and all facilities are available. A full functional kitchen you can use as well. We highly recommend this place to everyone visiting Castelo Branco.

Brilliant little place, had absolutely everything we needed to make out stay very comfortable. Welll equipped kitchen . Great location. Friendly staff who responded promptly to any questions I asked. Great location and i had no trouble finding free parking close by. Will definitely return :-)
