Warm & accommodating hosts in very pleasant surroundings, location is perfect & in one of the few safe places to be for the independent female solo traveller whom just happens to be more vulnerable than ever these days. I can't recommend this specific location enough for exquisite simple charm and natural tranquility. Pleasure to support the loveliest local community in the labour of love team dynamic business. Can't think of anything to be fair, credit to the hosting team dynamic camaraderie I think? Accommodation was perfect for me & so can't can't say fairer than that!

We had a fantastic stay at Klitgaarden! The hosts were super friendly and their place is absolutely beautiful (and calm). The rooms were very clean and well stocked, and the family room was really spacious. We all loved the animals - our kids spent quite a bit of time with the goats. We hope to come back one day and stay longer to experience the beauty of the north coast once again.

Wounderful location 1 km from the beach in a quiet and relaxing area. Near the beach there is a single beach bar and thats it - exactly what we were looking for. We spent only two nights in Klitgaarden and wish we could have stayed longer. The hosts really make you feel welcome. We definitely plan to go there again.

Nothing worth mentioning

I loved the location, you could see all the horses outside and not many cars passed by. It's a nice quiet get away from the world. It was also close to the coast, only a 5 minute drive. Easy to navigate too. The owner was extremely pleasant and very kind. Really enjoyed my stay.

The only downside was that my husband and I weren't able to cuddle or sleep close because the beds were two twins pushed together for a couples room so they separated if we tried to cuddle. But I will say the beds were very cummfy.

There is a charming Orangerie, where we spent the time waiting for the 3pm checkin.

There was a misunderstanding regarding breakfast. Contrary to our (internet based) expectations there was no breakfast available. However, the very friendly host helped us out with yoghurt and milk. The coffee facility in the room and our survival biscuits added up to a pleasant and healthy morning starter for continuing our bike tour.

The property has just the perfect location surrounded by green fields, trees. I did like the deer that are literaly everywhere in the woods and on the meadows. And the silence- I enjoyed it :)

we were advised that we have to pay additional money for the sheets and towels after we already made the reservation and it add to the total price which all together came to be higher than what we anticipated. this should be noticed before one make a reservation.

We just loved the place! The house is placed in a beautiful surrounding and it’s very spacious, clean, beautiful and well equipped. We travelled with children and they just loved the farm animals.

Warm and friendly staff and fantastic atmosphare! Even the ocean is a kilometer away, you can nicely hear it from your room.
