Nice staff (but they don't answer phone before 2:00pm): Warning: don’t take more than two or three candies off the plate with lots of candies at the front desk, because you will be reprimanded – something I’ve never experienced in any hotel – maybe candy is very expensive in Vilalba. There is a supermarket next door.

It’s a hotel/apartment; okay for a night. It has a very uncomfortable futon/bed that doubles as a sofa. Barely equipped kitchenette: “refrigerator” is really a dormitory fridge; does not have traditional espresso coffee maker (only a machine with capsules of undrinkable coffee). The advertising said “view”, but the view you get is the roof of the next-door supermarket.

Wonderful staff! Ramón greeted me warmly, demonstrated how to use the keypads for the front door, escorted me to my room and repeated the instruction, and asked if I needed a hair dryer (I did not). Breakfast began with Ramón preparing a great cup of coffee and natural orange juice and the Marina 1 and Marina 2 (mother and daughter?) preparing lovely breakfasts made to order from a menu with many options. The hotel is modern and nicely decorated. It has an elevator. There is a large market right next door and a nice bar/restaurant across the street. It is close to old town. Camino Norte is one block away and the bus station is about 3 blocks away; a short walk.

On the brief 1-night stay I loved everything about my stay. From the warm welcome at check in; the design and aesthetics; to the Zen felt sense of the room; to the elevator and keyless access; to the blessings of ancestral energy in a 3 generation-run lodging; and most importantly for me, the joyful conversation at checkout with the gentleman owner (regrettably do not recall his name). ¡Profundas gracias!

New, clean and modern. Room good size with desk. Helpful staff and excellent value. No hairdryer in room but able to borrow one from reception. Large supermarket next door that had a separate eating area with 3 microwaves! (Heated food & took to hotel)

Could hear other guests coming and going from their rooms and were noisey in early morning departing. Not hotel’s fault but could remind others.

This hotel is well-located—close to the historic section and the main street with restaurants, cafes, and supermarkets. The room and hotel were immaculately clean and modern. The restaurant offers very good choices for a hearty breakfast at a good price. The beds were very comfortable and we slept well. The best part was the genuinely warm reception and treatment from the staff.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like. We were happy with all aspects of our stay.

Great room with comfortable beds and lovely reception area where you can socialise. Staff very kind and helpful, especially Ramon who made us feel very welcome.

We stayed during the River Festival and so it was very loud during the night but this was in the whole town so not the hotel’s fault.

I can't recommend this hotel enough, our room and bathroom were spacious, clean and welcoming and the bed was a dream. The lady who dealt with us during our stay was really pleasant and the breakfast was over and above the standard Spanish offering. A great stop for anyone on the Camino.

The room was clean and well maintained. Right on the Camino and convenient to restaurants and supermarkets. Very good communication about check-in.

The walls are very thin and the people in the surrounding rooms talked and talked and talked into the night… I double checked that the restaurant would be open at 8am for breakfast and was assured that was the case, but I finally gave up at 8:30 and went across the street. Disappointing. I would have left much earlier…

This accommodation is perfect. The beds are so comfortable, everything is clean and spacious and they also serve breakfast. The hotel is at a few meters away from the Camino and very close to supermarkets and restaurants. There is no noise from the other rooms.

The hotel is super nice! The reception staff was very friendly, helpful with information about sending backpacks and taxis, then our room blew us away. I had booked an apartment, but it was so spacious and had great lighting. It would be great if it had AC as it was hot, which I know can be unusual for the region.
