- excellent hotel with absolutely fantastic staff and great service - there will be multiple room service per day - the location of the hotel is amazing - the restaurant of the hotel offers an amazing view on Shanghai's skyline - the whirlpool of the hotel offers an amazing view on Shanghai's skyline - the spa is huge and absolutely wonderful - the breakfast is super tasty and totally worth the money - the rooms and the infrastructure is totally modern and new - I will definitely come again! Thank you for the amazing stay!

There was always one English -speaking staff at reception. We were so nicely upgraded to the Pearl Tower view, it's not the hub of the CBD but in a nice location for long walks, absolutely loved the room, the bathroom facilities and auto-bidet!!! Wow! Loved the tea selections (first time having Longjing tea), no one smoked within the hotel, it was kept clean and maintained. Housekeeping staff work very hard (clean 3 times a day!), and very friendly and always wanted to make your stay comfortable. The gym and swimming pool level had a cool complimentary BMI calculator.

Breakfast is very expensive (think it was 550rmb pp/day).

Our stay at Bellagio Shanghai far exceeded our expectations! Everything from the staff and services, to facilities and food were wonderful. The location is exceptional, right on the river with stunning views of both the Bund and upstream inland towards the west. It conveniently located near public transport, general stores and key tourist attractions. The staff are warm and welcoming, they made our stay so very special. We are so thrilled and touched by your kindness. Big thanks to the team at Bellagio for all your support and kindness. We look forward to coming back and staying with you again. The room is fantastic! And I especially love the view from my room. Breakfast was great too. Friendly staff and I am so grateful that I was allowed to stay beyond my check out time because my taxi only came at 3pm and I was allowed to use the room until 3pm, this was so kind and helpful for solo traveller like me. Thank you so much, I had a wonderful stay in Bellagio SH.

My booking includes breakfast but during check-in time your front desk told me that breakfast was NOT included so I did not have a proper breakfast on my 1st morning.

Wonderful experience, images do not give justice to the hotel… Views from the rooftop bar of the skyline are exceptional! Team are very lovely, always friendly and welcoming. Special thanks to Kamil for his extra attention during our arrival. Rooms are incredibly spacious, well laid out and clean.

Food from Room service was average and the menu options for the brunch should be revised - an odd combination and quite pricy for what you get.

location of hotel was a short distance to the bund beautiful 5* hotel that met our expectations bellboys-Yufan & Chase were knowledgable & very willing to help with bookings & questions etc.

weather was terribly hot in august that made us only stay indoors- which was such a waste was also the holidays- crowded everywhere suggestions not to travel to china in august.. the bed & pillows were rather soft for me.

Lovely hotel and located in a fantastic area to discover Shanghai. Wonderful and very helpful staff especially at the reception. Special mention to Mrs. Constanze and Mr. Robin from the front desk which helped us so much to discover the city and gave us precious advice on where to go and what to do. Special thanks to them both. The room was excellent nothing was missing to feel well. The breakfast was delicious and tasty, all in all a great experience in a great city.

Lovely stay overall. My Deluxe King room was great and looked just like the photos; spacious, clean and comfy. The staff were very welcoming and helpful with my requests. Breakfast was delicious, I had both the buffet and menu options, Eastern and Western, English and Continental. The meals I ordered for room service were just as tasty. The swimming pool was wonderful along with the sauna/steam room in the men's changing room. Gym did the job for me with some free weights and cable. Location was perfect for a leisurely walk to The Bund plus there was one metro station not too far from the hotel.

The hotel was boring. The 6th floor terrace was occupied by an Italian restaurant that closes at 10:30pm on week days and midnight on weekends, what a waste of the night time view and their whisky bar. Far better to have a speak easy? Live music? Every time I went back to the hotel before midnight, it looked empty and felt lifeless. The basement arcade was largely deserted, Varsace Home left behind their sign. Didn't get the party-people-dancing-down-grand-staircase vibe as shown on their in-room hotel presentation channel.

The bedroom was one of the best we have stayed in! Beautifully kitted out. Towels and bedding were of the highest quality. Dyson hair dryer was a bonus.

Unfortunately the hotel had an exhibition on and they only have one lounge bar which was being used by the company. We struggled to find anywhere to sit and have a drink but the hotel tried to do their best to accommodate us

The hotel is beautifully finished in all aspects, with large clean, well equipped rooms and very comfortable beds. The location is good, just being a ten minute walk from the Bund walk way. There is a large shopping mall just behind the hotel with plentiful restaurants and shops. The nearest metro is Tiatong Rd - about ten minute walk.
