Quiet, beautiful, natural and a heavenly setting. The fact that it rained most of our stay made this location even more beautiful. The location in a valley full of trees, birds and wildlife just makes the experience magical. The grounds, walks, river and pools are stunning. The food in the restaurant was satisfactory and the service very good. The villa was beautiful, though a little mouldy smelling - though it's a tropical villa in a wet tropical setting, so that comes with the climate! The daybed in the room doubled as a great little work nook when I needed to be on the computer and the walks around the property are beautiful and scenic. Not far from Ubud by shuttle with a daily included service to get you there and back for shopping and dining. It's quite isolated, but if you're willing to take a car or shuttle to get to more attractions, it's a good spot to be in.

For a place that markets itself as a "healing sanctuary" I don't think that allowing smoking in the restaurant is a good move, especially when the tables are so close together.

Sun-bed seat cushions in pool area are covered with mould. bathrooms are semi open to the walk pathway and we had privacy concerns. if you don’t like to see gecko, lizards, wasps, spiders, aunts and frogs in your room, then this villa is not the right style for you.

From the moment you check in to the moment you check out you will come across amazing people with the warmest smiles! Your friendliness and genuine care will go a long way! The resort is honestly out of this world! There are many activities at your door step. For instance, you can start your day with a trek down the sacred canyon and top it off with a massage by the very talented ladies who were able to find all the stress knots. The following day go for a spiritual cleaning down by the canyon and allow your soul to rest. End your day with a delicious meal at the restaurant with waitresses and waiters dressed in their beautiful traditional clothing! On our arrival we had a little issue with the room given to us and the problem was solved with such positivity that I felt bad for even raising the issue. Huge shout out to the amazing receptionist team! We will most definitely be back.

Very stylish accommodation in riverside forest, makes for a relaxing stay. Very friendly and helpful staff, who arranged airport pickup and transport whenever we needed it and a tour to north Bali. Good food at the restaurant and a great place to enjoy the spa and relaxing massage away from busy Ubud, in a nice quiet village. Free afternoon tea is a pleasant bonus with lovely coconut cake treats.

Location is quiet and secluded in a forest. The distance from ubud needs to be planned around if want to explore on an evening and eat away from the hotel. If wanting to relax on evening the restaurant and pool area is good place to do so. The spa service are very good, the facial and Bali massage a must. The genuine forest sound is very relaxing. The breakfast and evening meals are very good with plenty of choice for all tastes. This was our second stay here, and we will continue to return when we visit Bali.

My only criticism is the pool uses the natural spring water, which sounds great…but the water is little chilly if the water not had much sun. The poolside loungers could do with the cushions cleaning also…but really these are minor issues, don’t be put off staying.

The location is inside a jungle, and both my friend and I are very susceptible to mosquito bites, but to our pleasant surprise, we never saw mosquitos inside the resort. The Jackfruit Restaurant is amazing - food was really delicious and the pool and swings are beautiful. We really enjoyed our breakfast and the room service. All the staff were so friendly and helpful which made our stay really stress-free. Laundry was done very quickly and ironed well. Really loved the beautiful rooms and appreciate the mosquito repellant both indoors and outdoors.

The top of our mosquito nets were not clean (could see some bugs and stains). The location is far from town centre (30 min drive) and sometimes it can be difficult to order gojek but scheduling cars ahead of time definitely helps. The staff helped us communicate with the driver about the location.

Our stay at this hotel was perfect. The service was outstanding, with every staff member exuding professionalism and a genuine desire to make our stay memorable. A special shout-out to Ketut, who took us on a tour that was both informative and delightful. His friendly demeanor and expertise truly enhanced our experience. The spa services were beyond amazing. We indulged in two 3-hour massage sessions, and they were honestly the best massages we’ve ever had. The therapists were skilled, ensuring a relaxing and rejuvenating experience. The hotel itself felt like something out of a movie, surrounded by breathtaking flora that added to the serene and magical atmosphere. The attention to detail was impeccable. Our room was cleaned twice daily, and each time we returned, we noticed thoughtful touches that made us feel truly pampered. If you’re looking for a place that combines luxury, exceptional service, and a stunning natural setting, this hotel is a perfect choice. We can’t wait to return!

We liked everything!

The pool and the jungle setting are truly spectacular. The gardens are beautiful and lush and exploring down to the sacred canyon is a truly incredible setting. It feels very far from the commercialised parts of Ubud and is totally serene and relaxed. The room is beautiful with jungle views and the bathroom also very cool. The staff are very friendly, discreet and helpful, we enjoyed the Indonesian breakfasts which were generous and interesting and flavoursome, as well as the afternoon teas. We ate at the hotel restaurant two nights which was very nice. They also arranged airport transfers and excursions for us, with a friendly and informative driver (cost about €50). If you’re looking for a secluded and romantic getaway far from the crowds this is a great spot. We wish we had had more time!

It is quite far out of town, it’s difficult to walk too far from the hotel (the location is good for exploring the area but with a driver). We tried to use the outdoor bath but it’s too large to fill!

This property was welcoming from the start. We were early for our 2pm checkin, and our accommodation was available when we arrived. We had asked for a river view suite. We were upgraded to a jungle view suite. This suite was amazing. It was so tranquil and beautiful. This suite came with an outdoor plunge bath and outdoor seating. It was just so relaxing using the plunge bath and nothing nicer than having a beverage on the deck, and we used them every day. The suite was very clean and inviting. All the staff, referred to as the team and my friend by all members, were welcoming, polite and so friendly. The restaurant was beautiful. The menu was great and delicious. The prices were reasonable and the atmosphere was calming.

Nothing. We loved our time spent here. The drive off the main road into the property could do with a little upgrade, but definitely did not put us off the beauty of our stay.

Everything! The place was amazing in my top hotels I’ve stayed in and probably my favourite experience you felt like you were deep in the jungle which I loved. The staff were so lovely the breakfast and afternoon tea were great. The room was gorgeous and was nice having the turn down service before bed. The spa was great we had a lovely couples massage and the grounds were fun to explore with the canyon and holy pools. Thank you so much!

Nothing I didn’t like about the hotel/rooms etc. the only thing I could say is the restaurant was yummy but portion sizes for dinner were very small. This was not the same for breakfast which was generous portions. Other than that 5stars!
