A recently renewed hotel that tries to give new life to the tourism of Vallombrosa. Very clean, nice helping personnel. It is important to notice that the hotel is very well located in the center of Vallombrosa, in front of the monastery, and NOT in Saltino as appears from the mail address.

The quality of the equipment in the room was a bit "cheap", this is ok for the moment, but in the long run will constitute an extra cost for the owners as, already now some details stat to break (e.g. toilet paper support, shower support, etc.). There is no pharmacy or newsstand in Vallombrosa or Saltino, this is not a problem for the Hotel, but the local municipality should find a solution at least for the summer.

Everything - the lovely and helpful staff, the beautiful surroundings, the delicious restaurant with wonderful and skilled waiter, the comfortable bed. We stayed here for one night to enjoy the forest in the mountains and our stay was amazing. The helpful staff gave us many options for walks and in the end we decided to go to the tallest tree of Italy, which is in this area. 10/10 would definitely recommend this (brand-new!) place

I don't want to put any negative feedback. The only thing is, the bed was too hard for my preference.

Hotel is surrounded with amazing national park with many hiking routes. It is really calm and peaceful place. I stayed for only 1 night because I was in this area for work. But I will be happy to return for longer stay. Stuff is friendly and professional. Hotel has its own restaurant providing breakfast and dinner.

Room is small and soundproof could be better. Which was not critical as I stayed only 1 night.

The restaurant quality, simple good and cheap. Service very efficient.

The bar is not sufficiently furnished even with basic drinks. Not easy to park the car on Sunday.

The setting is absolutely beautiful, 3000 feet altitude in the forest opposite spectacularly, beautiful Abby set into the side of a mountain.

This was a great place to stay as it was old Abbey guest house which has Benn renovated just exquisite
