The rooms are very roomy with 2 queen beds and a table with 2 chairs plus a desk. I like the long counter that has the sink, microwave, coffee maker and frig. It's exceptionally clean and the owners are very kind and very helpful.

There's nothing to dislike. The building is on the older side and the furnishings aren't the latest fashion but they're in excellent condition and very functional.

Very clean and spacious Motel. Comfortable beds, room AC worked fine as well as microwave and Mini fridge. Good shower. Owner Kevin very friendly and helpful with lots of information. Location is great and close to many waterfalls as well as rock hunting. Plenty of stores and gas stations, restaurants nearby.

We stayed here so that we could ski at the ABR. The location is close to ABR, and it is also close to good restaurants (in Hurley). The room is spacious and clean. It had a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker.

Nothing. The room was a bit dated but that is nothing to dislike. It is a no frills hotel (i.e., no breakfast). Again, nothing to dislike here. We were able to get breakfast at the nearby McD.

Although it is obvioisly a property that has been there since the 50’s/60’s, it is also very obvious that the ownership values cleanliness and helpfulness. It has a funky parking lot ( not a big deal) and doesn’t provide a breakfast as most motels do these days. The staff and registration office provides helpful advice and discount coupons, if wanted, for many local eateries. We enjoyed fresh cut flowers in our room ! EXCELLENT VALUE!!!!

The room was huge! After many days of having the lighted bathroom area right by the beds I was just thinking about what the perfect hotel would have. I came up with a bathroom area that was separated from the sleeping area. When we got to this room, there was a wall separating the area where you get ready in the morning from the bedroom. It was so nice to not worry about waking anyone up as I got ready.

Clean and neat

Early check-in was not available even tho Booking.com said it was. Even got an email the day of the stay, inviting me to arrive early. Booking also asked if I would like to “upgrade” to a balcony room for a small fee, which I did. Upon arrival, I found that the “balcony” was the walkway with access to the rooms. The owners of the property were mystified by Booking’s offers.

CLEANEST property I have EVER stayed in. I was blown away. It was like staying in an untouched jewel of the era in which it was built. Still has the avocado green tub and sink! And I mean - no grime ANYWHERE. No dust. Extremely quiet. Room was HUGE (2 queens and sofa bed). Fridge and microwave. So much room to stretch out. Absolutely this place is a *find*.

This place was clean, comfortable and spacious. HOWEVER, if I would have known before I booked this room there were “Trump is my president” flags hanging from the balcony of this motel I would not have chosen to stay here.

The television was high up on top of an entertainment/dresser cabinet, which made it uncomfortable when watching while sitting at the table in the room. Always looking up to it, instead of at it.

The owner took the time to circle waterfalls on a map for me. Room was on the 2nd floor. It was huge. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. I hiked everyday and then inquired about staying an extra day. The owner went out of his way to keep me in the same room. Yes, I'd come back.
