The staff was friendly and very understanding. I forgot a whole toiletry bag and they had everything I needed and dint charge me for it..they also made my kids feel special. Every time they walked into not the lobby they were greeted with smiles and hellos.

That my time was so short there

The location was perfect. We were there to bury my mother-in-law's ashes in Shinglehouse, Pennsylvania, and the location was easy to get to, comfortable, and quiet.

The only thing we didn't like was there was a large group of college kids there, and they monopolized the breakfast bar, so we couldn't get any coffee or food. They put their luggage on chairs and couches. :-( But, that wasn't your fault. That's just why we didn't rate the breakfast bar.

It was the most wonderful breakfast due to the lovely woman who greeted everyone and worked really hard to make sure each guest had what they needed. She helped me to have a happy start to my day. You have an amazing gem in her. She even brought bacon out to the dining area to someone who was waiting for it. I hope this fantastic employee is recognized and rewarded!! Thank you!

Amazing breakfast and staff was amazing excellent food

The rooms were very comfortable and welcoming. The breakfast was excellent! The staff was very helpful and courteous!

The elevator was broken and we were on the 3rd floor. Discounts were given to people who booked directly with them but they couldn’t give them to third party bookings. The refrigerator wasn’t cold when we arrived in our room and I thought it was broken as well. I alerted staff that it wasn’t working and asked if we could put some things in their refrigerator. Turns out that it was cold by the next morning.

Clean, Comfortable Rooms. Had a very good nights sleep. Very friendly Staff, breakfast lady was super nice! Definitely one of the best Holiday Inn’s I’ve ever been to!

The small staff was stellar- very responsive to needs and requests. The hotel room itself was pristinely clean and smelled wonderful.

We like staying at Holiday Inn Express hotels since they reliably offer a basic level of services - clean, in safe locations and usually have well trained staff. The hotel on Olean did not disappoint. We also like having an option to have breakfast - mostly for a quick access to coffee and maybe a pastry since most of the other options are not that palatable.

Poor choice of basic breakfast options.
