From the street, the hotel looks relatively inconspicuous. But after entering the building with a warm welcome, the building reveals a beautiful courtyard that spreads peace and tranquility after the lively streets of Sòller. We stayed in the superior suite (room no. 2), which has a gallery facing the courtyard with a fantastic view of the mountains. This alone, the nice and attentive staff and the delicious breakfast would have made our stay some great days. However, once we have reached another town, we realized that we have forgotten our daughter's stuffed animal in the room. But as soon as it was found, one of the staff (thank you, Àngel) drove 2 hours to our current accommodation to give it to our daughter. Incredible, what a wonderful hotel!

Angel from the hotel was very kind. We mentioned that we loved a local pastry and noting that the day after they might be closed for Easter, he went ahead and got us the very flavour he recommended we should try. Certainly not a one off given the exceptional service we got from the team at the hotel, recommending good food and hikes near the hotel. The room was very comfortable as we also had the roof terrace which was stunning to be at during the beginning and end of the day. If you are visiting the area, I would certainly chose this one.

The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the hotel is immaculate and nicely furnished. Our room was very comfortable and well air conditioned, and the terrace had a nice view of the mountains. The hotel is a short walk to the main square and the tram down to the port.

The only thing to be aware of at the hotel are the steep staircases. The driving in Sóller in general is difficult due to the narrow, often one-way streets. The hotel has underground parking a short walk away but we were able to find parking on the street.

Perfect location near main square and the famous trams. Lovely original building. The staff were fantastic - Nicole helped us get parked (which is a challenge there by the way!) and actually came with us to the nearby car park to get us sorted. Very grateful!

We wouldn’t recommend any but the bravest to drive into the centre. The streets are very narrow and hard to negotiate - without help from Nicole on reception who came with us to their car park in the end I don’t know what we would have done ! If you drive in I suggest you ring the hotel to discuss.

Ambience, style of property, location close to the main square, size of room. There is also a lovely outside courtyard and terra e that can be used by guests. My balcony from my room was only a Juliet one so couldn’t be used to sit out.

My room, which was lovely, with lots of space, unfortunately had a strong smell coming from the en-suite bathroom drains. It wasn’t too noticeable when I arrived but grew steadily over the days I was there (even with daily cleaning) and actually woke me up during the night on the last evening.

Loved that the hotel was an easy walk to the town center, bus and train stops.

Hated having to take our luggage 2 very tiny flights of stairs up. Tough getting around the last corner. Also, 6:00am on our last day the fire alarm went off. We as did most guest tan out in our pajamas. There was no one we could get ahold of! Nothing! A guest finally found how to turn the alarm off. The hotel attendant arrived around 8am. Unacceptable.

Excellent location, within walking distance to everything, good sized rooms and the most friendly and helpful staff. We left our toddler’s soft toy in the room and went on to the next stop on our road trip, 45 mins away, and Angel so very kindly drove all the way to our next hotel and delivered it to us! Our toddler was so happy and I’m just astounded by and so appreciative of the customer service, in particular the generosity and kindness of Angel. I don’t normally leave reviews but had to leave one!

We had a great stay at Can Abril. The suite we booked was amazing for a family with kids and had plenty of space for everything, plus a beautiful view of the mountains. The rooms stayed quite cool despite the heat and we liked the original architectural features in the rooms too. We felt really comfortable and well looked-after and would love to stay there again!

The parking is a bit far and it can be hard to stop and unload near the hotel so just bear that in mind when packing!

Charming staff at breakfast, couldn’t have been more helpful. Quiet hotel , typical Majorcan house tastefully decorated.All very clean.

We had two rooms, numbers 1 & 9. Both the same price but not similar. Room 1 far more spacious, room 9 was quite limited. However we didn’t spend much time in the rooms, so it was only a minor inconvenience. We feel there should have been a price differential.

Hospitality/Communication: The owner and staff do everything they can to make your stay as enjoyable and stress free as possible. Driving and parking in Soller is tricky, especially if you are used to wide roads, but they were very communicative via WhatsApp to ensure we knew where parking was located and how to check in (esp if you’re arriving after hours). Breakfast: Included and excellent! The owner wakes up at 5:30am every morning to make homemade croissants, pastries, yogurt, marmalades and james. The hard boiled egg, meats and cheeses were a great touch. All fresh ingredients — such a great way to start the day. Room: Good size for two people. Comfortable bed, separate area with TV connected by a short breezeway/hallway. Good shower with excellent water pressure and toiletries included. Location: The property was in an excellent location on a quiet street yet only a three minute walk to the main square and church. If you happen to be in Soller on a Saturday, the market in the main square and surrounding areas in a must.
