We had such a lovely one-night stay here for our anniversary, and honestly, we couldn’t have asked for more. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful – surrounded by peaceful wheat fields, yet still not too far from London. It’s the perfect mix of countryside calm and convenience. The spa was amazing – especially the outdoor pool and jacuzzi. Everything was clean, relaxing, and just felt like a real treat. The staff were also super friendly and helpful from start to finish, which made the experience even better. Such a perfect little escape – we left feeling so refreshed and already want to come back!

From the minute I pulled up in the car park and checked in, everything was perfect. The staff at reception were very attentive and super polite and warm. They detailed everything we would need to know. Our rooms were superb and so clean and fresh. We used the leisure facilities, these again were 1st rate and the staff were brilliant. We had booked an evening meal and found this to be exceptional - Steak done perfectly. Every member of staff we met was a credit to the Hotel throughout. The best Hotel I have ever stayed in whilst working, and will definitely be booking there again.

Staying at this hotel for our 3rd year wedding anniversary and I must say it was brilliant. We were a little early for check-in but our room was ready and we were able to go in. The room was spacious with lots of amenities and decorated very well. The hallways were very well kept. Once settled we used the shower, which was a rainfall shower and was quite powerful and very refreshing. Afterwards we popped to the bar and checked that out. Drinks were very reasonably priced and a lot of variety. My wife went for the french rosé and I had a beer which was on tap, can't remember which but I think it was Estrella. We then ordered an Uber to the restaurant we had reservations at. We arrived back after our meal and we went straight through to the bar and had another drink....or two. Once my wife went back to the room I asked if they had a certain drink but they were out and was offered an alternative and it was very nice and credit to the staff who mentioned the alternative. Once finished I went back to the room. The bed was lovely and comfortable. Woke up feeling a little bit worse for wear but not too horrid as I had to get to breakfast (which was included in the price) breakfast was lovely, greeted by staff and sat down in the dining room. We were asked for tea and coffee and then we went up and grabbed a plate and the food was there for the taking. There was a choice of juices and cereal. We went for a hot breakfast and there was everything you need for a decent breakfast including two types of eggs. Finished breakfast in the gardens with our coffee soaking up the atmosphere and the quietness and then went to check out. Very lovely hotel and very reasonably priced, would definitely recommend and will be coming back again.

Few more cheeses on the continental and croissant could have been warm.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Pontlands Park Hotel, and it truly exceeded all expectations. From the moment of arrival, the experience was exceptional. The facilities are outstanding, offering everything you'd hope for in a high-end hotel. My room was incredibly spacious, thoughtfully designed, and beautifully furnished with a comfortable sofa, a practical desk, and ample room to relax or work. The large windows flooded the space with natural light and provided lovely views of the surrounding greenery – a real treat to wake up to. The food was excellent, with every meal prepared to a high standard, both in presentation and taste. Whether you're staying for business or leisure, the on-site dining is sure to impress. Set in a beautiful and tranquil location, the hotel offers the perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Yet, it remains conveniently accessible with free parking and electric charging points – a thoughtful touch for modern travellers. In my opinion, this venue deserves a 5-star rating. The combination of comfort, quality, and peaceful surroundings makes Pontlands Park Hotel a standout destination. Highly recommended!

Generous sized room, lovely grounds, food was great. Staff were good. A pleasant stay.

Even though a three star hotel, for the price I was still expecting some basics like a fridge and night gowns, instead one towel (no smaller towel for hair). I suppose one of it's draws is the spa which we didn't get a chance to use, to fully review or get full benefit of what we had paid for. We unfortunately were staying on a Sunday so were limited to when we could use the spa as subject to public opening times, no extended access for being a guest of the hotel which wasn't explicit on booking.com site and different to other spa hotels. Breakfast should be available a little longer, and misadvertised on booking.com as something I check when planning a stay away for leisurely lie ins.

A beautiful property. Bedroom was clean and spacious, with everything you would need and a comfortable bed. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and the facilities were great - we used the leisure centre on arrival, and it was lovely. Breakfast was good - standard buffet fayre with hot and continental options, and the food at dinner was delicious - very high quality. Overall, a really lovely place to stay!

The only downsides were the emergency light in the bedroom giving out a bright glow all night long, which did disturb our sleep a little, and the room being quite hot with no way to control the temperature and no ability to open a window. We did find a fan in the wardrobe, which helped a little, but it was a bit uncomfortable. An extractor fan in the bathroom/ability to open the bathroom window would also have been nice.

The hotel was beautiful and located in the most scenic grounds. We enjoyed our breakfast in the morning which was tasty and quite fulfilling. We were able to charge our electric car while we ate! We had a relaxing walk around the grounds long after we checked out of our room at 11am.

Because of the exceptionally hot weather we would have welcomed air conditioning in the room. The room was extremely hot and stuffy even though we arrived at 2am! It would have been a good idea to have had the fan up and running before our arrival to at least cool the room down a bit.

Lovely spacious room with large very comfortable twin beds. Nice table by the window to sit and have cup of tea and write a wedding card! The fact there was two chairs was very good, as often when we book a room for two there is only one chair. Good range of breakfast options too. We did not eat evening meal here.

The only comment I would make here is that the side of the bath was rather high to step over , and out of ,to get into the shower, for us in our 60s. Other than that everything was very good.

Access to the neighbouring leisure facilities to relax in the pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. Breakfast was excellent with choice of buffet or selected cooked items from a menu. Food for dinner and lunch was also excellent. Room was spacious and made it comfortable for a week long stay where we could work, relax and sleep. Staff were always willing to help and the ability to refill water bottles with filtered water was a bonus and set us up for a day out.

Limited timed access to the leisure facilities, particularly for children. Wifi was weak in the room we stayed in (however with plenty of data on my mobile this was not a big issue for us). Unable to use HDMI ports on the TVs in the room to be able to connect a laptop or tablet to for watching things like Netflix or Disney+.

I found the wording for the rooms very misleading. I booked an outside room thinking it had been downstairs and outside because I’ve mobility issues myself and my daughter and when I got there and realised we had to climb up two flights of stairs I was absolutely mortified we did it. It Wasn’t ideal, and when I asked about it, I was told inside rooms haven’t got any windows. I’ve got a skylight and outside rooms I’ve got windows this to me didn’t make much sense as I’d thought outside would’ve been outside of the main building ground floor so I think for further misunderstandings with people, you should word it as it is.
