This was an excellent choice away from the basics of travelodge ect. Lovely, quiet situation., even though in the heart of the antique markets literally next-door. Loved the mix of antiques and modern throughout the guest house. There is also a tearoom and a lovely garden to relax in at the rear of the property. The welcome was warm and cheery. The bedroom was homely (though the mattress was a bit too soft for our liking, I suppose that's because of other people prior to us using it). En-suite was great, plenty of hot water for showers, toiletries provided. Only had a couple of small issues but they were quickly sorted out. Breakfast was excellent, wide choice, cooked to perfection and served at a nice relaxed pace, as we like it. The hosts and staff work really hard and deserve thanks. We will hopefully stay here if in the area again.
Really can't think of anything we didn't like about this place.

The staff were all very friendly, helpful and efficient. The room was a reasonable size with all the necessaries. The bed was comfortable with crisp, clean bedding. The room was very clean overall, but the carved frame of the mirror needs a good dusting. Breakfast was tasty, good quality meat.
There were a couple of small areas that could do with some refurbishment, rusty spots on heaters & paintwork on shower room skirting. It was a shame, as these minor but ugly things let the room down. Could do with a light by the back gate where there are a couple of steps.

The property was quaint and very well looked after. The room was small but everything you needed. The shower was nice and hot and the bed was supper comfy. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were really welcoming and polite. The antique village next door made for a lovely Sunday morning stroll.
Our bed was so comfortable and the pillows were great BUT SADLY it had a terrible squeak. We were woke constantly through the night when one or the other was moving by a horrible loud squeaking noise. Which was such a shame because other then that everything was perfect (Mexican room)

Very good location for visit to RHS Hyde Hall. Also to explore Battlesbridge antiques/collectors centre (which had no idea about at time of booking but is right next door to Guest House and interesting if not really a collector!). Very welcoming host, lovely breakfast with good choice, parking on site, easy check in - up to 9 pm, good power shower. Everything essential available in bedroom and bathroom, it's just that our double room was a little tight on space. Fine for one night stay (or one person), but longer and you might find navigating around each other a bit too much. Size probably was clear in info. I just hadn't focussed on that. Would not detract for me though as everything else very good.
Nothing really (once factored in double room rather tight on space.)

There was 4 adults & our rooms were converted stables. The rooms were so quaint! Had kettle, tea, coffee, biscuits. And a nice little touch of a jar of marshmallows! Yummy! For breakfast u go into the main house! This b&b was a former winner of the tv series four in a bed! The only thing I felt let it down was the breakfast it was lukewarm. And we waited quite a time for it to be served! And my daughter who is a vegan was so disappointed in her sausage! It looked gross! The surrounding area was fab! There are a lot of antiques shops & stools & also a great comic/marvel etc shop right near our b&b & a garden place right next to us! We overall enjoyed our stay! And we would go back & stay there again!

The bright clean rooms, the rooms were bigger than i was expecting. With only four or five rooms, it was very quiet there. Parking was sufficient. Use of big rear garden with its large water feature was a bonus. Nice design at front with big ornate water fountain. Breakfast included in price of room. Breakfast was ample and fresh local produce, the full english breakfast was tasty . Facilities nearby is five minutes drive, the Hawk Inn gastro pub is one minute drive away and was reasonable for a top class restaurant with additional seating outside for hundred people with easy free parking.
Nothing. Wished i'd booked longer.

Quaint, clean, very cosy garden room. Very comfortable bed with fresh smelling linen & soft towels. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate & marshmallows supplied...nice touch. Breakfast in the main house was excellent again in a very quaint dining room. Check in and out was very easy. There is a garden to sit in & parking on site. Frasers guest house is excellent situated in the midst of all Battlesbridges Antique centre....only a short walk to reach all of the buildings. Would definitely stay again.
Loved it all. No complaints & unable to think of any improvements other than we would have liked a second bedside unit in our garden room rather than the wobbly plant stand. Otherwise, all good.

Such a beautiful place in a lovely area.Had so much character, well thought out design and furniture. Georgia served us breakfast which was incredible, amazing variety of choice for a breakfast included place! We chose full English, eggs royale which we realised Georgia had also made as she was struggling to find people to work on the weekend:( Exceptional meal, with such kind offers of top-ups!We were so impressed by everything and Georgia was an incredible host who really made us a warm and comfortable welcome!Definatley recommend and absolutely no complaints about anything!
Nothing!

Nice place to stay, comfortable bed, lovely breakfast and staff really welcoming. Super tea and coffee tray with biscuits and marshmallows for toppings, bottles of water too which is a great bonus.
Not much not to like few minor things, radiator in room didn't work but there was a electric heater in wardrobe although not keen on leaving them on too long, also shower screen needed replacing or some sort of really good clean, although I do believe it was clean it looked grubby around seals etc probably only thing that let the room down.

We had 4 of the 6 rooms one night then 5 of the 6 the next night. Rooms are either in the main house or in the garden with a small court yard. I was in stableyard in garden. The room was tight but fine. It was clean with shower gel and shampoo. Kettle and coffee making facilities. A wonderful kettle that I had not seen before. However, the room damp. There was a lot of mould and damp stains in the bathroom. There was nowhere to hang our dresses for the wedding. The rooms in the main house were lovely, a little damp but had long hanging space for suits and dresses. Georgia is a dream. She told us about the One Green Bottle [OGB] jamming session. It was a great night out with great live music and all very close to the accommodation. She even let us have a late check out Sunday for us to get to our wedding. The breakfasts are lovely with a great choice to eat. Georgia was very accommodating with great local information. The gardens are lovely and we had great weather which meant we could all sit out together. Thanks for making our stay memorable
Damp room and couldn’t hang our dresses up
