The street is lovely and quiet but really close to station and the seafront. Some lovely little beach cafes and restaurants a stones throw. Room was small but clean and was perfect for an overnight stay. Codes for doors was easy and saved carrying extra keys.

Parking was hit and miss we were lucky that we got the last space on the front of the hotel. When we went out in the evening we were going by train but if we needed the car we wouldn't have been able to get out as someone was parked right across the drive. Would have meant a door knocking session had we needed to use it. This isn't the fault of Divine Beach but just be aware that parking is limited but if you want to guarantee swift exits then you can park on the street for free or Westcliff station a fiver a day at the weekend.

We were here 3 years ago, myself and the children loved it! Now, that they are young adults and 1 bigger child, i thought it was a good idea to repeat it. The location near the beach , the train station and self check in access. I don't remember having the issue that i mentioned below on what didn't you like section.

A sewer smell. We had windows open overnight on the first night, as it was hot and a fan on. However, the smell become unbearable, at end we closed the windows. On the second night, we closed the windows and it was less smelly.

Our room was a double bed which was a really good size with plenty of space to walk around in. There were long body mirrors which I liked. The room itself was very clean and tidy. It felt light and airy with no unpleasant smell present. The bed itself was very comfortable and clean. The sheets, pillows and towels were fresh too. I really liked that there was a fan inside of the room which was needed to keep us cool. The closet also had plenty of space to store our belongings which included a safe at the top also hangers etc.

So my only downside is the bathroom situation. At first glance I thought I was opening a closet door because of the interesting door design but upon opening it I discovered it was actually the bathroom. It was really tiny and it made it hard to move around inside without heating up fast and feeling claustrophobic. Also the sink was located outside of the bathroom which was a little bit awkward especially since to wash hands it would mean having to leave the bathroom.

Easy reach of the seafront by walking. WestCliff on railway station 5 minutes away and is a direct line to London Southend and Leigh on sea. The hotel is located on a quiet side residential street. The rooms are clean,,with a television and a kettle to make hot drinks. There was street parking right outside the property. The staff were very helpful completing my online check in and getting codes for access to the hotel and room.

The Hotel was home away from home very welcoming and inviting, we felt so relaxed and we had an unforgettable experience.

Devine Beach hotel gives you such a welcoming and warm experience where you always want to return. It was a very safe and friendly environment very close to Publix transportation, a walking distance away from the beach and we are looking forward to the warm summer holidays to return.

Cliff Pavillion only 8 mins walk from property. Train station 2 mins walk! Room clean, Bed and sofa were comfortable. Slept like a baby. Room was nice and warm. Nice staff - easy to reach when I needed help

Not enough car parking spaces. Nearby car parks not cheap.

I loved the location, close both to the train station and to the embankment. Pleasant walking distance from the Cliffs Pavilion. My room was small, but clean and quiet, perfect for spending 1 night after the show. Everything worked fine. Thank you.

I had trouble finding the wifi information as I thought it should be in the room. It is because I was not attentive enough to see it on the corridor walls on the way to my room.

The man that was on shift went out his way to help me. He went above and beyond. Lovely guy.

The door number code to get in. I didn't feel safe as if anyone had the number they could get in. Also, remember a long code after having a drink. I ended up leaving my stuff in the car and left the door open so I could get in after I went out for a 50th birthday party. I would definitely stay again but hope for a room that has an key.

This was my fourth stay at the OYO Devine Beach Hotel in Westcliff on Sea as the Other times that I've stayed there The hosts were very friendly and Polite if you needed anything all you have to do is ask. The room is a good size big enough for 1 or 2 people. The only let down for myself was the bed for me it was too soft but I know that's one it is impossible to do anything about. The Hotel is about 150yds from Westcliff Railway station, just down the road to the beech. It's a short walk to the Cliffs Pavilion. It's not far to walk into Southend or you take the train a two minute journey with C2C. If you're into walking there's a great walk along the Promenade from Leigh on sea right through to Shoeburyness as well as a long walk out to sea. Plenty for the kids to do, and plenty of good eateries for all tastes. I will be returning for the fifth time.

The numeral check in on doors is a good idea but the noise coming from them is horrendous especially with drunk people putting wrong numbers in at 3am in the morning. It’s horrendous. There is very little noise reduction and can easily hear people in neighbouring rooms.
