My stay exceeded my expectations. The room was large, very comfortable and exactly as pictured. Bathroom was spacious and beautifully decorated. AC worked well as did the cieling fan. Bed was very comfortable. The family who owns the property is very kind and gracious. They provided top quality service and went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. Breakfast was very good and filling. The pool is clean and nice to enjoy after a long day out. The property is only an 8 minute walk or so to Kabalana beach and a 10 minute walk to some good restaurants. Ahangama beach with a larger strip of restaurants is a short tuk tuk ride away.

We loved it here - the location of Kabalana beach is great and much better and less crowded than Ahangama itself, it's a short walk to a great beach as well as excellent food options. The breakfasts and food at Jini House was also great, and we got use out of the pool and loved watching the monkeys play from our balcony. The location is lovely and quiet, perfect for sleeping but a walk or tutkuk will get you anywhere quickly too. The hosts and staff were fantastic, we will be coming back!

We booked for 5 days but ended up staying 2 weeks! We had an amazing experience at this small family-run hotel. The rooms are cozy, beautifully furnished with great attention to detail. The pool is perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach.The breakfast and dinner prepared by Jini's mom were incredible, fresh, delicious, and made with care. Every meal felt like a special treat! The warm hospitality made us feel completely at home. Jini's father has a tuk-tuk and is always available to take you wherever you need or to organize full-day trips to nearby beaches, temples, or towns. Everything was perfect! Great place to stay in southern Sri Lanka! Hospitality at the Jini House is topnotch — the host family are super friendly and made sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. Great breakfast on offer. Pretty chill and green ambience. Good room with good amenities — the loose natural stones on the shower floor were a nice touch. The house itself is located in a calm and green neighbourhood in Ahangama, conveniently close to the beach but tucked away from (but close enough to) busy tourist hotspots like Galle, Weligama, and Mirissa. We ended up not venturing away from this part of Ahangama and stayed mostly along Kabalana Beach since we found the vibe here quite unbeatable compared to other beaches in the area — long and not-so-crowded coastal stretch with incredible sunset views, nice palm huts, surfing schools, and food options. 💯% recommended! We would come back again for sure!

Everything about our stay was top-notch.

My partner and I spent one night at the Jini House and we were amazed by the service, the staff and the breakfast! The room was very naturalistic: with stones, ropes, a lot of light and plants. The breakfast was delicious and included a lot of food (eggs of your choice, sourdough bread, muesli, cake, pancakes etc.). It also has a swimming pool and it is positioned in a nice quiet area near the beach. Ideal place if you want to visit Ahanghama, Mirissa, and everything in between. We will definitely be back!

EVERYTHING! The best breakfast-included of my entire life and i've travelled almost continuously for the past 6 years. It's a homely feeling with the luxuries of a cute AirBnB. The room, especially the bathrooms, are just so beautiful and photogenic. The breakfast is YUMMY and photogenic. I love the staff, their courtesy, and the service. We ordered some bar snacks so they sent trail mix which was fish-spiced - IT WAS SO GOOOOD

Our stay at the Jini House was truly incredible. The room was spacious, clean, nicely decorated and in a great location, a walking distance from Kabalana beach, the best beach of Ahangama in my opinion. What made our stay memorable however, is the staff! They were so friendly, helpful and provided the best breakfast we had so far in Sri lanka! Would really recommend this place to anyone! We had the best time

The place is full of a magical atmosphere among green vegetation, a beautiful and well-maintained pool, very clean and beautiful rooms, delicious, fresh and healthy food and the best breakfast, and above all, Jini and her family are hospitable to guests and happy to help immediately with any matter. We will definitely be back!

Nothing not to like.

We had a wonderful stay at Jini House. The owners gave us a very warm welcome. The room was comfortable and conveniently located close to the beach. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast twice during our stay. On the day of our departure, the owner helped us with the return of the Tuk Tuk and arranged transportation to the airport. We would definitely recommend staying here to anyone!
