There is a great selection of food at the breakfast buffet. The shuttle service to the beach is good and essential running g every hour between 10am and 8pm. A real credit is if the bus is full, they will do a second run that hour, so there is no panic if you don't get on. There is also a little coffee/snack bar in the lobby selling well priced snacks. The rooms were clean, the bed comfortable and internet at a good speed.

One of the reasons we chose to stay here was the pool. Unfortunately, it is freezing cold to swim in, and the chairs and round lounges are extremely uncomfortable to relax on. The games area at the end of the pool is set up for young kids, there is no longer table tennis, so nothing for older kids. The only other negative is the flat screen TV (not smart TV as listed on the website) only showing a selection of news channels, Thai TV and one movie channel with a few old movies that continually rotate - wish we had brought our own laptop to stream Netflix.

Location and Hotel Vibe: One male staff member from the front office responded very quickly to guest messages and took action promptly. Thank you for the fruit set provided in the room. Overall, the hotel has a good atmosphere. On the morning of my first breakfast, I noticed that the floor near the juice station was sticky. A male service staff member (approximately 170-175 cm tall, wearing a purple shirt) responded quickly and efficiently by coordinating with housekeeping. Housekeeping arrived within five minutes.

Mosquito Issue: There were many mosquitoes in the restaurant during dinner on my first day and every morning during breakfast. Breakfast Service: The staff in the restaurant seemed sleepy in the early morning and lacked energy to engage and motivate guests during breakfast

The buffet was good. They made sure to replenish food quickly and always had piles of fresh cut fruit. They had bacon and a omlette station as well as a mix of noodles, curries and stir fried items. The rooms were large and comfortable. The bathtub separate from the shower was nice as well. The staff are so wonderful. Everyone was very nice and patient with us (we have two toddlers). Lots of toys and kid friendly things around. The splash part was a bit aggressive for my 2 yo but my 4 yo was good with it.

The shower and bathtub was falling apart. My husband found out quickly that the bathtub wasn't secured to the floor. There also wasn't any hair conditioner. House keeping left the doors open for the mosquitoes to come in after getting rid of them on the first day, so I opted out from having housekeeping come to clean for the duration of our stay. The kids playroom wasn't air conditioned too well and felt stuffy/dusty.

The price and overall amenity and facility are good. But the building where we stayed is so run down. Scratch marks and peels on almost every inch of the building and inside the room and elevator. Definitely requires a face lift. No tea or coffee provided in the room, just a kettle. Felt a bit ignored by staffs, they seem to treat foreign guests as priority. I travelled with my elderly mother. No one cared to help with our luggages either check in or check out. F&B staffs are lovely. Very attentive.

The room price. Good breakfast and dinner at reasonable price.

I had suite with a small pool. It was pretty old looking and the furniture could use an upgrade for sure. Staff was great and the breakfast was excellent.

Noisy. My room was dark as no sun shined on that side of the hotel. Also it was farther from the beach than I expected. They had a shuttle that ran every hour but it was kinda inconvenient and crowded. I actually had a couple good pizzas in Thailand but do yourself a favor and don’t order one here.

Excellent hotel for families with small kids. There is a kids pool with slides, sandpit, large trampoline, small playground and indoor playroom with some toys. Our kids really loved it there. Food was really good, even in the hotel restaurant so we opted to eat there as much as possible and not gamble with beach restaurants. If it wasn't for the terrible beach we would be returning to this hotel for long weekends all the time

When we checked in the floor under the beds wasn't cleaned so when we moved beds together we had to clean it ourselves. Beach is terrible - dirty beach and dirty water so if you are going there just enjoy the hotel and its facilities which are exceptional Little choice in western food during breakfast - if you like cold cuts for breakfast they offer only one type of cheese and Bolognese ham. Otherwise there is a huge variety of different types of foods

This was our first time visiting Centara Life Maris Resort and we were impressed, especially with the pool, room and staff. You'd need to drive a short distance to Jomtien Beach, but we had our own vehicle and I'm sure the hotel would provide transport there anyway, but the room was super clean and comfortable. The pool area is fantastic and safe for small kids too.

For me the breakfast was just 'okay', but my wife loved it, thus I think it's more suited to Thai nationals. The actual eating area was poorly lit and freezing cold, which didn't help the ambience, although one could have eaten outside - next time I will do just that. Nevertheless, for me, the breakfast and the overall ambience of where we chose to sit, was the only notable point in what was an superb overnight stay.

Great facilities for families, sunny pool and excellent breakfast. Can get busy but is built for it so it doesn’t feel crowded at all. Good bang for buck, second time here and will come back.

Rooms can be a bit cleaner, but nothing serious: our pool was a little run down (broken vent) and under the couch we found trash and even an ID card someone lost! Other than that: really excellent rooms, nothing to worry about really.

The resort was comfortable and well-decorated. The trees were much more mature than the photos, making the common areas like a beautiful jungle. Great for people traveling with children, with an activity center right out of Teletubbies! Breakfast buffet was huge with indoor and outdoor seating.

A little far to walk anywhere, to the beach or restaurants. Good bread ran out at breakfast and was not replenished.

Having a excellent managment team that seems to promote Staff Happiness shows up for me giving this resort top marks. I was there for 29 days. It's hard to believe, I can not find any negatives. I have been to 27 countries, stayed at 5 star hotels and I would place this resort close to the top. One has to also consider I usually pay $ 200 Australian or more per night. Centra Maris Jomtien was around $55 Australian per night. Many times the staff went out of there way to help. On one occasion I wanted to visit the Elephant Santuary. My visa card would not pay and many thanks to Golf who is one of the resort workers who found the site I was using was a scam He got the resort to pay then I payed the resort. So so helpful. Thank you for a wonderful stay and I'll be back for 4 weeks next yr.

As mentioned above I could not find any negatives. However one small suggestion I think the resort should look at and that's having brochures advertising adventures and trips on offer in the Pattaya Area.
