We had an absolutely delightful experience during our recent stay at U Jomtien. The hotel staff went above and beyond, showering us with their kindness and warm-hearted hospitality, making us feel not just like guests but cherished members of the U Jomtien family. The breakfast surpassed all our expectations, offering a delightful array of delicious options that catered to every palate. Opting for two rooms turned out to be a brilliant decision. Both rooms were not only spacious and impeccably clean but also showcased modern designs that added a touch of elegance to our entire stay. Notably, the soundproof walls in all the rooms provided a peaceful retreat, allowing us to enjoy a restful night's sleep despite the hotel's proximity to traffic. A standout feature of our stay was undoubtedly the skypool on the rooftop, providing a breathtaking view and a serene atmosphere that added an extra layer of enjoyment to our overall experience. Our heartfelt gratitude extends to Chat, an exceptional attendant who significantly enhanced our stay. His assistance with taxi services and guidance to nearby attractions was invaluable. Breakfast was exceptional, and rooms had superb beach front views . Waking up to ocean views was the perfect way to start the day. The kitchen and hotel staff were very courteous and went out of their way to make you feel special. It's also very family orientated, and I couldn't fault check in or check out. Cleaning the room was prompt, and they were lovely.

The hotel is perfect for honeymoon couples with beach out the front. It's located a distance from the centre of town but there are baht buses out the front. Internet kept dropping out and no movie channels for English speaking guests. If you wanted to go to a restaurant there were plenty nearby.

Loved: Absolutely loved the use of the app to chat directly with front desk, schedule cleanings, and request amenities. Shower was cozy, big, and exceeded expectation. Strong pressure. Has a bench area to put lots of toiletries, shampoos, gels, creams, all the bath stuff you'd need, also where you can sit down and thoroughly wash your feet haha. There was a balcony where you could enjoy the breeze or leave wet clothes to dry. Room had proper rubber slippers, tote bags, umbrellas you could freely borrow - but these are not for you to take home. Free breakfast buffet was limited but decent. Self-service espresso machine. Room booking had a one-time 20% discount on food orders. We availed of the 2700THB van transfer service that's meant to go to BKK/DMK airports, but we had another hotel in Bangkok and still allowed us to book the van to go there.

Disliked: Sink was outside the bathroom (on the bedroom side). And it wasn't draining properly, had a little clog or the cover wasn't fully up. No free tuk-tuk/transport service to hotspots, malls.

Beautiful hotel. Easy walk to bars and restaurants. Easy bus into Pattaya if you want. Had small gifts and a happy birthday banner in the room for my birthday which we had never mentioned to the hotel. Room was beautiful. Whole place very clean. Great service

Feel we got a bit screwed at the happy hour(3hours). Was buy one drink get one free. Got two mojitos. Then two beers. Repeat. Several times. When I went to pay we got all the cheap beer free and paid full price for cocktails. Seems petty but it annoyed me as cocktails were expensive

Great location right on Jomtien beach. Nice, quiet and relaxed atmosphere. The room was modern, spacious, bright with direct views of the sea. Nice decor and everything was very clean. There was an infinity pool, bar and gym on the rooftop where you could catch amazing sunsets in the evening. Salt restaurant had a good selection of breakfast on their buffet. All staff were very helpful. Easy to get around by catching a Songthaew outside the hotel heading to Pattaya Central.

Housekeeping usually attended our room in the afternoon. Only on Saturday they rang our doorbell at 9:40am, when we had just woken up, and wanted to clean our room. We told them to come back in 10 min. We then left for breakfast and were out all day. Came back around 16:30 and room still not made up. The came back around 17:00 but I informed them that it was too late now as we wanted a little rest before heading out for dinner. Lady exchanged our towels gave us some more amenities.

The property looked new and clean and the staff were friendly. Good breakfast in the restaurant with lots of variety. I had an ocean view room on the fifth floor and the view was amazing! You can catch tuk-tuk to the central area of Pattaya, it stops right in front of the hotel.

I would recommend keeping the balcony closed at night due to some smoke and noise coming from people who spend the night at the beach.

Lovely room, well catered for in a small space. 2 free drinks in room fridge daily. Amazing view of the beach! Right on a quiet beach. Comfortable bed. Open air corridor had a beautiful feel & breeze, as did reception. The best breakfast buffet. Rooftop pool is gorgeous & perfect temperature. Cocktail hour. Hotel App is great to book a time for room service. Quiet hotel

Location is a little far to walk to main areas & not many restaurants, shops, bars, but plenty tuk tuk to jump on & a convenience store very close by, right on quiet beach. Fridge not very cold. Bathroom mirror too dark - need better lighting there.

The room was clean, modern and comfortable. Buffet breakfast was delicious! Many options for food - western and Thai. Very friendly and hospitable service from all staff, from the moment we checked in, including the cleaners, car park staff and restaurant staff. Will definitely stay again. Great for business or personal travel alone, as a couple or with family. Close to the beach and many cafes and food options nearby.

Some food items in restaurant were a little pricey

Pros- 1.The View- breathtaking view from our room...Sunset, Jomtien beach, the ocean... gorgeous 😍 2. Breakfast spread - Huge breakfast spread. Both continental and Thai options are lip smacking. I loved their noodle station where you can help yourself with noddles and toppings of your choice. And their Pandan custard is to die for. 3. Reception staff- very well trained, enthusiastic,always smiling,very helpful. 4.Infinity pool - great view again. You can click beautiful pics.

Cons- 1. Room size is a bit small. Not enough space for storage. 2.Open bathroom and toilet -it gets difficult if you have small kids. I had to send them away every time I took a bath.

First time in Jomtien Beach Pattaya very warm and informative greeting at check in from Yoon and May. I had a few minor issues which they rectified quickly. At the Salt restaurant I was always given a warm welcome from Ween who always seemed to go out of her way to ensure I was fully catered for. The hotel is literally on the beach front, just cross the road and you are there, I did not opt for a sea view room but I got a partial view. The room size is reasonable with a small balcony, the shower is different as it is behind the bed and open view, maybe not for the most prudent but that’s not me. A nice size comfortable bed with a large screen tv which had lots of channels to suit all worldwide guests. The roof top pool was very refreshing and never overcrowded with a bar to quench one’s thirst in the heat. Breakfast has a good selection, world buffet style, the restaurant has a good menu with plenty to choose from. I was never left disappointed but fulfilled.

I am always curious why hotels only stock small beers and charge in my opinion extortionate price even when they say it’s happy hour when a bar not far away will sell twice as much for half the price. My only major gripe was the fridge which in my opinion needs to be upgraded as it was not very cold.
