The location is the superb. The room is spacious, clean and quiet. The bathroom is big. The bed is huge. The AC works perfectly.

Don't even try to get to the hotel by car bigger than a minicooper. In the hotel they will tell you that even a small truck can get there - but they did not mention that the driver must be super-experienced driving those narrow streets. Park directly inside Mezquita parking and save yourself a heartattack. The breakfast is dissapointing.The coffee is horrible - why not to put a basic, proper and modern coffee machine. The swimming pool is a fiction - it is a pool, but the size is less "swimming"-like.

From the moment we stepped into the hotel, we were welcomed with a wonderful scent, genuine kindness, and the efficiency of the front desk team. When we entered our room, everything was thoughtfully prepared — the bed was perfectly arranged, there was a special gift waiting for my son, and even a cozy setup ready for our dog. To top it all off, we were surprised with a delicious sandwich from the lovely concierge. Such small details and heartfelt gestures made our stay truly special and unforgettable!

The swimming pool area was a bit small, the space around it felt a little limited, especially when more guests were around.

We loved the NH Collection Amistad Cordoba and would definitely stay there again! We had a junior suite which was perfect for us, but worth checking with the hotel if you do book a suite re access, our room had stairs down into it so not ideal for anyone with mobility issues. The car park is directly next to the hotel but quite tight to get into, the hotel let you know in advance what the maximum dimensions are for cars. There is a very helpful member of staff (sorry we couldn’t remember his name) who will assist you parking and is happy to drive and park for you. The hotel staff were really friendly and helpful,

We stayed in room 222 for 5 nights 31st Match- 5th April. Checking in was probably the friendliest in a long time. (Thank you Pilar!) Getting a nice warm welcome makes a huge difference. Our room was quite small but very nicely decorated with comfortable seating and had a modern large bathroom with fabulous rain shower. Everything was spotlessly clean. Most importantly the bed was comfortable! Absolutely fabulous breakfast every day where we were spoiled by lovely charming Isabel and her colleagues. Just one disappointment about the stay was the constant banging by construction workers who were updating the hotel throughout the day. We like to sleep in the afternoon before enjoying late evenings in wonderful Cordoba but it really was impossible. We did know about this prior to arrival so I’m not blaming the hotel in any way but I do wish we’d been informed that the hotel air conditioning wasn’t working! ( of course on our arrival it happened to be the hottest day of the year so far! ) If we had knowledge of this we would definitely not have stayed as sleeping in a cold room is what we’re used to. (The air conditioning never came back on during the 5 days of our stay.) I rate this hotel as being superb even though things weren’t quite as we expected and that’s mainly down to the really wonderful happy and helpful staff. (Isabel, Rosa, and Silva). Coming down to breakfast (that incidentally was superb) was always such a pleasure. I highly recommend staying here when you visit this stunning city. Just check that everything is working and the building work has been completed.

Nestled in the old town, also knows as the jewish quarter, the hotel has a lot of character and charm. As we walked in, we were pleasantly surprised. The hotel is very nicely decorated, minimalist with neutral to earthy colors. The room size is decent, the bathroom is modern and it’s clean. Our room was on the ground floor (which the receptionist misleadingly referred to as the first floor) and close to the pool, but we were not bothered by any kind of noise. The pool is quite size-able, but we never got to use it, as we were out during daytime. The restaurant is also nice, breakfast was good and the staff amazing, especially one lady (i wish i knew her name), she was so cheerful and energetic and simply a breath of fresh air in the morning. The property is at a walking distance of main historical and cultural attractions and is surrounded by a number of good restaurant and souvenirs shops.

Our room was facing a wall, there was no view. And this is not clearly communicated on booking.com when we reserved. (Apparently all room of this category have the same view- or so we were told). It would have been a bigger problem if we had to spend more time in the room.

The location is so central in Cordoba . Everything was within a short walking distance. The rooms were very nice, the bed was super comfy - we slept great. Our room was very clean, quiet, and comfortable. There is a pool, we took advantage of the beautiful weather and lounged a bit on the sunchairs around the pool. The Staff was exceedingly helpful. We even were able to get into our room a bit early. The location is unbeatable. I would suggest to everyone to visit Cordoba - it is a beautiful town with a fascinating history. While you are there, I would recommend this hotel.

I am a hotel designer, and I was taking notes from the moment I walked in the door. The scent when the lobby doors opened, cold carafes of water with orange slices, the lovely Lobby - with its spectacular design and details. The Lobby is a lovely oasis. The elegance of the guest room: the height of the ceilings, the textured walls, the headboard design, the fresh fruit and the stunning bathroom (with a great shower!). We loved the design, the friendly staff- and the location could not be beat. Within steps from the hotel, we visited these gems: the statue of Maimonides, the Synagogue, Sefardic Museum, Alchemy Museum, 12th Century Casa, Matador Museum and a free Modern Art Museum. The Mzquitza is a mere ten minute walk past wonderful streets lined with charming restaurants and stores. Another bonus: The staff parked the car, which is a relief after driving through narrow Old Town streets. This hotel is the PERFECT place for a trip to Cordoba.

That I didn't stay longer!

The room was compact but very nicely decorated and very comfortable. The bathroom was lovely with an excellent shower. Toiletries were good quality. Araceli on reception was particularly helpful and did her best, especially during the power cut when other guests actually were abusive to her.

The power cut of 29/4 hit during our stay so that was an issue, the hotel was unprepared, the manager was in the kitchen making sandwiches, we could have done with some leadership in the dining room to ensure people were served their sandwiches (!) in order of arrival and to make us all feel someone was in charge! The wait staff worked hard but it was clearly very disorganised.

Smack in the middle of the historic walking center, clean big hotel with all the desired amenities. Smaller but very good pool. Room itself was large, great AC and perfect bathroom. Staff was beyond friendly. Parking we didn't use, there is a public parking lot about 15min away (walking, about 50% of the price of the hotel one)

Beds are quite hard, I like it that way but this was too much even for me because I could feel the springs. Room floor could have been cleaner. Pool needs a deep cleaning and the railing of the pool needs to be fixed, this doesn't suit an expensive hotel

A lovely hotel in a great location and easy to get to by car. Easy walk to everywhere. Very friendly and courteous staff. Good breakfast with plenty of choice. We will definitely stay here again. We were a bit apprehensive about getting to the hotel by car as we had read reviews indicating that it was at the end of a very narrow street and difficult to drive. We were driving in a large SUV and had no problem getting to the door of the hotel. The street is narrow and you do need to drive with care but it is wide enough for a large SUV and we didn’t even have to pull the door mirrors in. The staff will park the car in their car park and bring it back to you when you are checking out.
