Great location and friendly staff. There’s a decent restaurant right on the ground floor, and everything you might need is within walking distance.

The room had almost no lighting — and while that may sound odd, it becomes a real issue if you need to spend the day working from your room. Yes, there are lamps above the bed and desk, but they’re nowhere near enough to replace proper overhead lighting. What helped was access to a shared terrace/patio, where I could work outdoors with natural light and fresh air. Of course, this issue might be specific to my room — I assume other rooms may be different. Also, the breakfast options were quite limited. This is not uncommon, but even within a basic selection, hot dishes like scrambled eggs with bacon were only served once during my 5-day stay. So breakfast for me mostly meant cereal or simple sandwiches.

Perfect location in the city center, just few steps of the Dom square and the commercial area. For car travellers, a large (paid) public underground parking is located literally across the street. Modern and cozy room interior. No budget option for sure, but given the location and the quality, it is worth its price.

The single remark was the bit too noisy fan in the bathroom, which goes on automatically with the light each time you have to enter and works on for a while thereafter. Acknowledging that stronger fans have their benefits, I would certainly split the switch-on to avoid the noise on a later evening. Anyway, just a detail and definitely no issue to spoil the great overall impressions.

It was a lovely small hotel in city centre easily accessible by bus (nos 11, 12, 22) from the train station or a pleasant walk of about 15 - 20 mins. My room was quiet even though it faced a busy street and was provided with a refrigerator. I did not take breakfasts in the hotel but enjoyed drinking coffee and reading in the lounge area by the reception. The staff was very pleasant, helpful but unobtrusive. All sorts of stores, bakeries and restaurants nearby.

Tea/coffee maker in the room would be appreciated

Everything was great!

Due to the lack of personnel, the reception desk would close early (at different times on different days - 14h, 16:30h, 20h), which makes one a bit nervous in case a situation would arise later in the day /evening) when one would need any kind of assistance. But everything was fine, and a phone number was provided for possible assistance.

The junior suite was big, clean, and the bed was comfortable. The location was great with lots of cafes, bakeries, restaurants nearby. Also, the Dom, the old town, and St. Lambert’s church within easy walking distance.

Nothing.

Highlight of the room was the night light in the bathroom. The room had a balcony and a view on a Christmas market. Great location. There is a car parking on the other side of the street and many bakeries in the area for cheap and delicious breakfast.

There was only one chair in the room which is one too little for two persons.

Great location, walking distance from everything you might need. Bathroom was also very clean and well equipped.

Our pillows weren’t great and there was no hook for our jackets (so we had to hang them in the closet which wasn’t a major issue).

The stuff at the front desk was really friendly. Even though they don't offer water kettle in the room, after we asked for it, we got one, and they also offered mugs even though we forgot to ask for it.

The location was very good.

We missed a second chair neas the entrance. A wall in the middle of the room was a little bit strange. It was a pitty, that the hotel was in a holiday modus an so there was no bar to be used after return. A big problem was the waitingtime for taxis!

The hotel was ideally placed near the Altstadt and Dom and a bus stop was across the road. The walk from the Central Station took 20min to the hotel. We had a bright, spacious room with a big comfortable bed. The bathroom had a big shower and free toiletries. The breakfast had everything we wanted, a selection of fresh bred/rolls,croissants, fresh fruit salad, yoghurt and a selection of cheeses/ham/jams etc. We were offered cooked eggs and musli too.

Just a little niggle, there was no wardrobe in the room, just an open frame for hanging some clothes on. Also to note, it can get noisy at night due to the nearby entertainment area and students and busy traffic junction. However, we would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again.
