Front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. We had a problem with air conditioning unit. He could not fix it so he moved us into another room he even helped move our belongs. Room was small but very clean. Spanish theme inside and out. Grounds are well kept and good lighting in parking lot.

We went to get coffee, and when we got back card key would not open door. Had to call morning clerk to open door. You could tell he was not happy he looked like we woke him from his sleep. Sorry!

Appeared everything was well taken care of, and staff was friendly and helpful. The location was near a lot of commerce, and all was within walking distance. The wife was especially surprised by the shower having ample water flow.

Can't avoid homelessness but we have learned its best not to interact with this societal problem, which was evident here as will. They weren't on the property but were in some surrounding areas.

The motel was in a great location. It was really pretty on the outside and the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was small but very clean. Good value for money for a short stay.

The room was small and the water pressure in the shower was a little low but we felt that these didn't stop us enjoying our stay.

This property is a real gem. Although the dimensions of the room were smallish, the added interior design touches were very nice, a surprise considering that the room costs a lot less than other area accommodations. Who expects a coved ceiling in a motel room or tiled shower? The owner has installed huge arrays of solar panels on all three roofs, which he is working with PG&E to activate. He also plans to have EV charging stations on the property in the future. It may be called the Economy Inn but it feels like much more.

Could use a box of tissue paper in the rooms, a small quibble.

Comfortable, location, price

Wifi was always weak and towels were not sufficient for two people (one bath towel, one oversized hand towel, two wash cloths - changed every day, but not sure they were washed and dryer because the same towels appeared in the room every day), shower drain was sooo slow; had to step out and rinse feet because of soapy standing water in the shower.

Will definitely stay again. Room was clean. Check in was easy and manager was very friendly. Easy to find. Parking right in front. Ground floor. Landscaping is lovely. So much better than a place I stayed at in Merced.

Biggest issue is there are no lamps in the room, only a very bright overhead light. Made it hard to use laptop as overhead light way too bright. Also have to get up to turn off at night. A table lamp would be a small but excellent addition.

overall property was nice. Though obviously an older property, and not part of a chain, it felt like it was well cared for, clean, well maintained. almost a soft boutique feel to it.

Room had no phone, which seemed odd to me. Granted, most of us always have a cell phone, but still, just seemed odd… Also, the one request I made, asking for fresh towels, never received. Happened to see the desk clerk I made the request to as I was checking out, he made a point of saying he ‘had the towels at the desk for me’. Now if I asked for fresh towels as I was going out for the day, wouldn’t the logical assumption be to deceiver them to the room?????

I have been here multiple times and I keep coming back because it's small, quiet, clean, clearly well run, and walking distance to multiple places to eat. It's a 10-minute walk to "downtown" which is super modest but a charming stroll if you have some time on your hands. Water pressure is fab!

Yikes this is a tough one because it's such a good fit and because usually I am just there the one night (2x per year, coming and going) :-) My room is always on the smaller side which is fine for me but even a couple might collide in there. I am presuming they have bigger rooms but have never seen one. I have never had daily housekeeping service and have never been offered it but maybe it's upon request. But again I have never had need for it.

Room 18 appeared to be newly remodeled. The tile and granite bathroom was very well done and tile floor throughout. Very clean, no stains, no smells. Room was away from street and very quiet. Internet signal was strong, the Tv was large wall hung flat screen. Nice refrigerator And there were plugs and usb outlets by the bed stand. I would definitely stay here again

Love how the rooms are decorated so different from all the regular motels. The larger fridge and freezer, as we travel with a picnic that needs to be kept cold for the next day of our journey. The staff are lovely.

Coffee in the morning would be nice either in the room or in the lobby but my husband goes up the road to the garage and brings it back so no real problem.
