They have water with fruit and lemons soaking in it, I really like that. The front desk was very kind. The continental breakfast was good. Housekeeping was very accommodating!

The bathrooms are good except that water pools outside of the shower and creates a bad smell, I tried to soak up the water and let the corner by the tub air dry. The carpet in the rooms needs replacement with vinyl flooring or something else. The carpet has stains and needed to be vacuumed when I fist arrived.

The breakfast buffet lived up to his outstanding reputation. Ms. Earline fixed a wonderful breakfast each morning and was there to answer any questions we had. Ms. Consuela and her staff kept our room and the other areas very clean. We had a late arrival and Ms. Miranda, at the front desk, was quite helpful. Ms. Marrisa, General Mgr., was quite helpful in making sure we were given the room we needed.

The hotel is located close to almost everything (restaurants, stores, pharmacies, etc.). I stayed there several times back in 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019; it was good every time, but this last stay (July 21 - 22, 2023) was great! The hotel updated its amenities, breakfast area, rooms, its designs, everything! It was super clean. The hallways smelled very good. The bed was comfortable. The shower head delivered a "rain" of warm water; soooo relaxing! My fiancée loved the shampoo and conditioner available in much larger pump-style bottles than hotels typically offer (she has really long hair). They also had a larger bottle with lotion as well that she appreciated. The breakfast offered was diverse, hot, and delicious. I was with my fiancée coming back from a stay at one of the hotels at Universal Studios and passing through Picayune. My fiancée and I agreed that our stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Picayune was much better as far as comfort, space, and cleanliness of the room were concerned!

The only bad note was in the morning around 9:30 a.m. on Saturday 22nd, 2023, when two housekeepers banged on the door. When I opened the door, they said, "We were just seeing if you checked out already, but you're good since check-out isn't till 11." Then, they came back around 10 o'clock and banged on the door again for the same reason! 🤦🏾 That was annoying. If check-out isn't until 11 (and you already banged on the door once, potentially waking the guests up while they still have time), you shouldn't come back every 30 minutes. We felt rushed by the two housekeepers to leave.

The staff was wonderful and accommodated an issues I had with some rooms.

The elevator being out of service was a major inconvenience for me.

The elevator was down. So I had to carry my luggage up and down the stairs

The facilities were very clean. Didn’t have any complaints or problems with our stay. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

Clean and fairly well maintained Guest rooms are always very clean. Make it a point to tip the housekeeper responsible for cleaning my room upon departure

The black cabs that encompass electronic lock on the cast from doors were one scans the key kept coming off. And I noticed other locks must’ve had the same issue or they were missing. Failed to mention this to the front desk

Breakfast was good, although the pancake maker was broken. Staff was friendly & the lady who checked me in gave me a great dinner recommendation.

I would have liked to know the blinds were controlled by the switch on the wall - I just figured there were no blackout curtains & the house next door had a bright light that shined through the window all night....no one's fault but my own - just would be nice to have a card on the night stand or that to be mentioned upon check-in.

It’s centrally located, but adjacent to a wooded area, which is very appealing and quiet

everything at hotel was good except the cleaning staff always seemed to miss our room until late and one completely missed it.
