Ocean Palms has a lot going for it! It's budget friendly, is beautifully situated right on the ocean with spectacular views, has a simply fantastic on site bar/restaurant and a top notch staff. Although this is an older property, it was extremely clean and given the on-site amenities it's a great bang for the buck. As seasoned Island travelers, we've never met such a wonderful team of staff. Hannah and John provide personal and friendly hospitality from start to finish. Anthony and Keisha put out consistently excellent food, most especially their authentic Jamaican fare. And Kris behind the bar provides 5 star service, cocktails, and camaraderie.

Although this spot has a beautiful location and offers comfortable security, it is in a part of Ochos Rios I would not consider tourist friendly for walking about.

I was celebrating my 16th wedding anniversary. We enjoyed the privacy of our room. We stayed there for our 15th, and this was a return trip. I loved my room, room number 19. It was cozy and comfortable. In the evening we sat on the veranda and ate our dinner. It rained on and off during our visit, but that added to the intimacy of our visit. It was wonderful and we plan on coming back again.

No fault of the hotel, it rained, and there was no drainage in front of the hotel where the cars were parked. Lots of water. Maintenance staff did their best to fix the problem.

Scenery breathtaking, pool fun size,food,atmosphere very quiet, and location simply amazing ,bed was very comfortable also,staff were always smiling and attentive.

Wifi inconsistent, tv was too small,and bathroom fairly too small could use an upgrade,room could use an upgrade also with options of kettle,iron and iron board,mini fridge or hair dryer and a bathroom mat would be good to avoid wet foot prints throughout the room. "Limited parking area even though it can not be help giving the location "

Location is brilliant if you want to experience Ochi as a local. Shops, restaurants, transport and much more are within walking distance. Hotel is lovely with welcoming staff who are very helpful and provide a good service. Management are always available onsite and quick to resolve any issues a guest may have. Amenities are good and food and drinks at the bar are of high quality with fresh ingredients used. On the beach location good for relaxing and enjoying family time.

Better fans to be provided in rooms with no air conditioners.

The view was amazing and the restaurant too, the food was great although limited items from the menu available, more variety is needed for breakfast (hope you like Frosties) Staff were attentive and always helpful

Parking could be awkward when busy, if you want something different for breakfast you’ll have to ask. Difficult to get lunch some days as no chef on duty. No cable TV channels available. Facilities like darts and pool were quite outdated too and couldn’t really be used.

The food there was wonderful. I have travel for many decades and the chef here KNOWS that eggs are yellow when cooked properly not brown. Meals were seasoned beautifully and the portion were very satisfying

I didn’t like that I had no fridge in my room but most of all I dislike that I had to leave

It was my husband's birthday 🎂. We loved the intimacy, and our room had a great view. The staff responded to our needs. We plan on going back for our anniversary in October.

We did not get the original room we wanted, but the staff did their best and enjoyed ourselves.

My mother and I, both enjoyed the location and the facilities. Our room was on the top floor and the view was marvelous. The room was excellent and the balcony was great. The continental breakfast was good, the evening meals was lovely. The staff were keen to help us with anything from beach towels, accessing the safe, ensuring that we had everything we needed.

My father passed away in late April 2023 and the funeral was in May 2023. I felt it was wise to take my mother away for a few days. My mum, would have appreciated a lift to the top floor to get to her room. Also, the floor gradient from the swimming pool to the restaurant, you should watch out for. The bar is in the restaurant area at the back. There is a slight drop there as well. Hopefully, the refurbishment of the bar area will include leveling out the bar floor area with the restaurant floor.

It was family oriented. Karaoke was fantastic. We love the pool and beach front with access to the beach. I love how the staff were extremely loving and caring. They make us feel like we are all family. Also, great chef and bar mixer. Jon and Anna(property managers) were amazing!

There's nothing you wouldn't like.
