Great location, very friendly efficient staff. Breakfast choice superb. Bedroom comfy and very clean. Foyer and dining room decor / colour way spot on for style of hotel. pleasing and elegant. Stayed here couple of years ago in front bay window sea view room and great to see improvements/refurbishment underway. Would be nice to see sheer voile hanging in dining room windows to obscure view of unsightly pipes and wall.

Would like to see an effort made for it to be more disabled friendly. Banners out the front -mobility scooters. It seems the larger percentage of guests are elderly think more could be done for access. Helped a guest down the steps with her walker. Not ideal

We regularly visit Ilfracombe and we love this hotel. It’s by far the best we’ve stayed in there. I’ve also stayed there as a single female traveller and have always felt perfectly safe and comfortable.

This is clearly a hotel designed to cater for coach parties, but it does so very well! The location is excellent - right by the beach, and close to harbour and shops. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. My room was spacious and comfortable. There was even good entertainment laid on in the evening. Consequently, I loved my stay!

Wifi was good in the communal areas, but was not working in my 4th floor room.

for the price , nothing apart from re programming lift which had a mind of its own and price of town parking , but management team very helpful in finding us a space in their limited car park as I had large car .

Lovely traditional hotel, rooms nice, clean and modern. The location was perfect right down by the sea and just a short walk from the harbour. We had a sea view room and the view was really good. The dining room was lovely, nice fresh food with happy friendly staff, we had the vegan breakfast which was really nice. All of the staff at the hotel were so helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble, I felt really welcome. I would love to stay again sometime.

Large room, good views, great staff, excellent location and managed to park in hotel car park for free for the duration of our stay.

Only 2 people in dining room, separate to coach tours that are separate. Silence in the bar while coach tour played bingo. Seems they are a priority compared to routine bookings although we payed extra for upgrade and room. Poor quality Bacon at Breakfast!!

Great breakfast. Staff at breakfast was exceptional! We got served coffee, full english breakfast and lots of toast. There's a selecton of juices, fruits and more. Comfortable bed, clean bathroom.

Walls are thin, you can hear ppl and TVs from the other rooms. Nothing you can do about it though. Our TV was small but lots of channels to choose from. Slightly outdated room but it is what you'd expect.

The smell of drain's in the room I was in room 405, I spoke to the reception and she was lovely about it said she was told that the drains has been sorted, but the smell was still there

Everything about this hotel was far better than we expected, friendly helpful staff, cleanliness, excellent food. The location couldn’t be better when your only a couple of minutes walk from the harbour, beach, and the high st. We will be back for a relaxing couple of days.

Location was great, the room was lovely and clean, fresh bed linen and towels. Beds were very comfortable, we had a lovely view from the bedroom overlooking the beach. It was perfect.
