We were greeted by the Owner & Staff. They were exceptionally friendly. Went above and beyond to make our stay extra special. The view from our room was spectacular! Looking out towards the Port of Messina. The cleanliness of our room & the hotel was superb! Breakfast was excellent and we were waited on every morning by such friendly, bilingual staff. The choice of breakfast was outstanding! From cereals, full English breakfast, an excellent choice of Italian croissants & cakes, fresh fruit, yoghurts, tea, coffee, fresh fruit juices. Also on our last day we were due to vacate our room in the early hours. The Hotel Manageress Sabrina made sure that her staff left us covered up breakfast for us. We enjoyed speaking Italian & English with everyone at the hotel. Our room was very clean, beautiful, boutique style with spectacular views of the Port of Messina. Gorgeous, modern, stylish bathroom & shower too. Our bed was extremely comfortable. We will return soon .

We absolutely loved staying here! The hotel is very special & you know they care about the people staying there. It is well maintained, modern, cosy & elegant. The room has everything you need with quality linen, towels, toiletries & the bed & pillows offer the best sleep. It is also very clean & hygienic. You just feel at home here & welcomed. The staff are so lovely & warm, who offer such great genuine hospitality. It was one of the special touches that the hotel has that will make you want to return! The breakfast offered was so beautifully put together & the dining room makes you feel special. They offer savoury & sweet options, something for everyone. The coffee is also so good! A lot of effort goes into making & preparing the breakfast for guests & it shows. We will definitely return to stay here!

A gem in Messina. Starting with our host, she was ever so kind and accommodating. The Hotel has been recently upgraded and has very clean, modern facilities. The beds are super comfortable, bathrooms very functional and excellent sound proofing. Suites have electronic security keypad to access as well as front street door. The breakfast has a great selection. The Harbour views from our room was a bonus, as we watched passenger ships and boats cruise into Messina port. Location is very central, easy 5 min taxi from Messina station, close to many restaurants and attractions. We will definitely come back and stay at Jolly Charme on our next adventure. Thank you for our stay.

It was a simply wonderful stay. The hotel is beautiful and spotlessly clean and the room was perfect. It was spacious, pristine and decorated superbly, in fact even more beautiful than the photos. The staff were delightful - they were all so gentle, kind and friendly and went out of their way to help us. Breakfast was delicious and included lovely home made cakes and biscuits + granita. The position of the hotel is excellent, in fact our room had views over the sea, and there is easy access to the port and the main attractions such as the Duomo, the stunning astronomical clock which is a must see and the theatre opposite the hotel. We will most definitely return, this hotel is 5 stars, a boutique style hotel with the highest standards. It was such a pleasure to meet the staff who make this hotel so special. A huge thank you to you all.

Nothing at all, everything was perfect and exceeded our expectations

This is such a cute little boutique hotel. Rooms are quiet, updated and very clean. I had a nice view of the sea. Breakfast was good. Front desk staff was very nice. The hotel is located inside a building which can be confusing at first but you needed code access to get in the front door and the actual hotel on the second floor which made me feel very safe as a solo traveler. I would definitely stay here again!

Internally the property cannot be faulted, it is new and well maintained. Breakfast was very good and served with a smile. Our view over the harbour was interesting if not picturesque.

The keyless access worked well for us but could be a bit daunting for those not familiar with smart phones and impossible for those without ! Reception was unattended in the evening. The hotel is sandwiched between two busy roads and traffic noise , especially with the windows open, was a problem.

Excellent location and a beautiful, sunny room with a great view of the busy harbour. Lovely decor and a very comfortable bed. A wonderful breakfast. Generous and charming hosts with great staff. We absolutely loved our stay in Messina and are glad we chose to stay at Jolly Charme Suite. We would do so again without any hesitation.

Absolutely nothing!

Jolly Charm did not disappoint. Dropped off by taxi 25,00 !!!! and a little difficult for us to enter the building but a beautiful, charming receptionist went out of her way to make our arrival and stay comfortable. A small room but that view from a large window that opened out onto the port was the highlight. All was provided for our overnight stay including a restaurant style breakfast. Such attention to detail and extremely polite staff.

Nothing to dislike

The location is very good, a few minutes drive from the ferry, parking is convenient, and the view outside the room window is beautiful. Especially the breakfast, the coffee is delicious, there are a lot of nuts and fruits, and the food is also very rich!

I don't know the general price of hotels in Messina, but compared to where I stayed in Rome, maybe a little less would be nice.

We loved our stay, room was clean and bed was comfy. Breakfast had everything we want. Central, walking distance from restaurants and other attractions

We travelled by car, parking was challenging, once we understood in which coloured parking you could park, we founded a bit easier. By the 2nd day we got into a routine how to find and pay the small fee.
