Very clean place, rooms were large and the shower in the bathroom was great. Our rooms were right in the garden so they were ideal for us and our granddaughter. Carmelo the owner was very helpful. The restaurant doesn't open every evening, but we ate twice there and the food was extremely good and fresh. Breakfast was ok, however it would be nice to see more of a variety to choose from. Would definitely stay there again. Has a lovely pool area and small playing area. Parking is great. Beautiful place.

Nice rural and quiet location. Our room in the house was very comfortable. We had the evening meal which was delicious and we relaxed by the pool.

Unfortunately and naively we didn’t realise that the wine we were shown and had with the evening meal was not included in the price. The meal was 30 euros and the wine 20 euros, the host had only mentioned the 30 euros price at breakfast. We only found out on leaving and this left us feeling a little irritated.

Our stay at Casse Damma was a respite after a very hard time, and every aspect of it was a joy for us. The owner Carmelo is a kind man with a nice sense of humor who also cares about making his guests comfortable and who seeks to give them an experience that they will remember for a long time, and that is not to mention that the oranges from his orchard are some of the best that I've had in my entire life! A bonus was that Carmelo arranged for his talented and warm mother-in-law Nora to give us a cooking class for a VERY reasonable price, given that we learned to cook a four-course Sicilian meal (starters+primi+secondi+dessert) -- it was like cooking with the Sicilian grandma that I never had! The location is also very good -- it is far enough outside of Siracusa that it has a nice rural feel, while being close enough to Siricusa and Fontane Beach to get away for a morning, afternoon, or evening after a 15 minute drive. The breakfast that Carmelo provided was also very nice, and Stefania was very pleasant in serving us.

The house is like a small complex! The host is amazing, and if staying there you should surely try their homemade platter! Amazing! Breakfast was also enough for us, with fruit and cereals and bread and coffee. We visited in winter and it was very quiet and relaxing!

I would totally go back. The room was spacious, the bed was comfy and the breakfast was rich and delicious. Loved the hospitality as the owner was present and extremely helpful

Great breakfast with fresh fruit, dairy products from their own farm and freshly baked cakes. The property is very pretty und the owner very friendly. The rooms are spacious, the beds comfortable. The location is great to reach Siracusa und Noto (you need a car to get aroung though)

Exceptional place! Lovely old mansion with a park. Big room. Very nice host and you can get some good wine too. Definitely recommend. We visited in February and would love to come back in the summer.

Great amenities, rooms and food!

Nothing, we had a great stay. (Although there was a barking dog at.night....)

I really liked the animals; cats and dogs around the property. Very friendly. Also there was a restaurant in Case Damma, but it was only opened one night in the week we were there. But lovely dinner.

They opened the kitchen specifically for us and made us one amazing dinner. Rooms are really sweet and clean. Grounds are lovely too
